So if i got a bunch of my friends to simple post on this thread that he is creditable, etc. It would some how make you feel that this is not a scam? I can get people to post all day saying I'm trustworthy. But I really don't see a point.
None of my friends have done any type of these investment either. I'm Just trying to understand how Anyone Can get an investor money, With no History... Its like some sort of Horrible Catch 22.
AGAIN i'm not asking for a huge investment. I'm only asking for small small amounts of isk... I will put most of MY isk into this... and start small offering loans and such. Then when the investors see the value of the company increase. They will be able to back me up and say I'm a valid company. Other then that I dont see how else to do it.

I don't think it is a scam myself. But not being a scam does not imply it is a worthy endeavor nor does it mean that what you say you are doing is the only thing you are doing. As to starting small, you can't start small with people's API keys. Once you have it, you have all their current records until they change it. If they change it they get blacklisted or some such I presume. So, in essence, it is not that you can't be trusted with a small or medium sized fund. Even if it is your first attempt at running a business. What is the key here is that you are attempting to start a gold standard business that will pass judgment on people among several other possibilities. You are not the person, heck I don't know who is, to: a - start an Eve Credit Buruea, b - Have unreasonable access to huge amounts of market research data, c - program a secure system for preserving the sanctity of the keys and/or information. It is not that you aren't capable. It is that you have not proven any capability. And, for someone unproven and untested, it is allot to assume and/or grant. And let me repeat, I like the idea of it. Just that I don't think you've proven that you have the system nor the credibility to run/manage this yourself. Of course you could redesign your system.... nvm. Just had an idea that I think I'll run with.
The Eve-Online forums may not have invented whining, but they sure have perfected it.

Changing there API Keys will not get somebody Blacklisted. I only require the intial access to check there Skill Points, and Verifiy there UserID. After that Tehy can change it for all I care. And Credit Will be raised by them taking loans out.
the API Key Is only to verify there Account Info, and Determine Starting Credit.
Well if all you guys think API Key is out of the question. Then I Just dont think This system will work at all. Unless Since it will be more prone to scams.
Yes I agree that the Player will be taking a big Step into giving me his API Key... But At the same time im giving him a bunch of ISK. The only other possible Way, might be if the player puts up collateral, Which almost makes the loan system impossible to work... Since putting something up in "escrow" prevents the player from using it.

Lending without collateral is dead in Eve. Sad but true. Api Key could be used as a form of collateral, yes. And I don't think you should be completely dissuaded from the idea. I think you should start with another idea, similar but different, to help build the reputation you are lacking.
Perhaps a chat sometime to go over my idea. I think it'll be something a bit smaller but can be much much more effective. Heck it might even be more profitable.

I don't think it's a scam either; however, it's reminiscent(sp?) to the Eve Investment Bank. Once you get 700 billion ISK, you will need more help from people and you increase the probability of fraud.
I would just join a good corporation that can give 1mil to 5 mil ISK to newbs and then let them pay you back.
Good luck though.

Very interesting idea.My oppinion is that this is possible and can be done. I don't think that you are scamer or have something like that on your mind. I agree about API key and I see that your are "invest" time and energy into this "concept". By the way,I am very interested to become investor but first I "must" talk with my corp-mates to see what they have to say.

I believe this to be a brilliant idea and am willing to invest in it. It seems incredibly thought out. Please contact me in game so we can talk about the risks and possible solutions to scams that will likely occur.

Well I think it would be a nice idea in the basics.
But like most before me said here, chances are high that it wouldn't work.
I have another idea in mind, but that would need game mechanics that aren't given (yet) to work.
Someone who want to take a loan usually is somebody who don't have the money he needs. But maybe he have some goods or ships.
So it would be nice if it would be possible to impund a ship for e.g. as collateral. Loan could be given in exchange for material goods - and these goods can be kept if the loan is not paid back.
Just my 2 cents ...
But that isn't an option yet, that would need game emchanics we don't have. Maybe a possible workaround would be an additional loan contract for the items to impund. But thats still no guarantee that way.

99% of the Eve community do not read this section of the forum, and thus will never use the bank.
99% of those that do read this forum and want to setup an 'account' with your bank will not give you their API key.
99% of those that do give you the API key will have very little market activity logs from which I assume their credit score will be worth a 1m isk loan only.
99% of those who get a loan will only do so to scam the bank out of the loan.
Odds are this bank will never succeed.

Anyways, It looks like I have a few interested investors in this Idea.
I'm currently finishing up some things. Then the bank will be open for business.
Instead of Using "Bank Eve" Character I will more then likely be using "minernewbie" Since this is my mining alt that I'm on with almost 24/7.
I will start a new post on account creation/starting rates and just some general howtos.
Once that post is up, I will be accept investors money. Which I will return in the forum of corp shares for "Bank of Eve" corp.
Savings Accounts I decided WILL have a limit initial limit. That more then likely be lifted after some time and the cash flow "stabilizes"
I'll explain the inner works in greater detail in my new post.
Stay Tuned!

Lets save everyone the Hassle. Just wire your isk diretly to me and I will come around to your house personally to laugh at you
Real banks do this all the time!
But it is possible to setup a serious bank, but it will require serious investment from the OP - How much are you going to risk Mr OP? --

I could invest in stocks with comparable returns, without giving some weird API key (what the hell is that? Sorry. never heard of it) and receive "lots of isk" from someone as you claim.

I've brought Klas back up to speed. No need to point out to him what has changed in Eve since he last played.
