Strange Voice: Draghkar....Draghkar....hear my words.
Draghkar: Who is that which speaks to me?
Voice: It is the spirit of Lady Malakah speaking to you. My life was ended in a bitter fight for freedom but my spirit still lives amongst those giving their lives for freedom. O' the pain my soul is caught in over our people....
Draghkar: If you are no longer alive with slavery threatening your soul how can you be in pain?...You have been given freedom through death.
Lady Malakah: My spirit is caught in agonizing pain while our brothers and sisters do not take up the fight against slavery. Too many are taken everyday into a life that is death itself. Draghkar you must take up arms against the fight...you must call others to do the same.
Draghkar: I am not worthy to fight for my people. My life has only been a short number of days and I do not know how to fight. I would fail you Lady Malakah.
Lady Malakah: You fail your people if you do not fight. Pick up your guns and fly into battle fearing only the death a life of slavery is. Others will follow and freedom will come for our people. My spirit still remains amongst the minmatar people and will guide you in your battle. Go and begin the fight.
My minmatar brothers and sisters.....we must fight...we must free our people...the time for slavery to end is here.
May the spirit of Lady Malakah guide your ways and give you the strength and courage to defeat the evil of slavery before us.....

Follow your vision quest, sister. Not all are so fortunate to be visted by such spirits.
I wish you success in your struggle.

Draghkar, you are welcome as cannon-fodder or as a new slave in my foundry. For sure you won't be a threat.

Edited by: Wren on 22/01/2004 10:28:20 Amarrian, you spit your venom at the spirits of fallen heroes. This venom will only serve as the catalyst for more to follow in their footsteps. Your caustic words only sear away the corrosion of inactivity and apathy from the spirit of the Minmatar people.
Keep talking. It only hurts you and helps us. --------------------------------------------------

Ah so one feisty Minmatar is visited in her dreams by another.
Truly you would make a troublesome duo if the late Malakah, may the Lord have mercy on her soul for the sins she committed, still drew breath.
Oh and Wren, I hope our last encounter heated the embers in your spirit even more. I would hate to see you not try to go for the gate next time ;) ----------------------------------------------

Too many times is this self-same story trawled across this media. Minmatar "Terrorists" denounced by Amarr "Loyalists". Amarr "Butchers" denounced by Minmatar "Freedom Fighters".
Before, I felt that there was hope for peaceful cooperation between our races, but both sides of this cold war are unwilling to compromise, so steeped in their own dogma that they are unwilling to listen, or learn.
There are Amarr corporations who embrace the concepts of freedom, long established multi-racial corporations actively work in Amarr Space, with free Minmatar employees.
Oberon was one such, before their move to the Venal Region - relying on automation over slave labour. The BSC is another - a truly multi-racial shipyard working in and with the Amarr Empire.
Why must you perpetuate this hate day after day, year after year? --

Some Amarr have no concept of freedom, so while some of my kin remain under the choke of another there will not be peace.

Zaphod, I do not hate Amarr. My battle is not with the people of Amarr. My battle is with slavery.
It is my goal that slavery end as an institution. Utterly. There is no grey area for me on the subject of slavery, and there can be no compromise. Those that practice it are destroying lives. They must face justice, and those they have enslaved must be freed.
However, I do not believe that the sins of the parent become the sins of the child. Every individual has the right to prove their own worth with their own actions. I do not assume that any Amarr is a slaver. I will not attack, nor condone an attack on anyone simply on the basis of their race. Only those who actively engage in, or promote the activity of slavery will be subject to my retribution. Be they Amarr or otherwise.
I believe in peaceful coexistence between all people. I bear you no ill-will. Rather I respect your views and your hopes. If we cross paths, the encounter should be a peaceful one. I know I do not speak for all of my brothers and sisters, but I hope you will not judge us on the deeds of the worst of my kind, just as I will not judge you on the deeds of the worst of yours.

How much more spirits do we have to break before they see their struggle is in vain?
Even if we have to wipe out the whole race and spare but a few to finally let them see the truth we shall do it. For it is God who judges and guides us, failure in our devine task would be worse then death.

Real Minmatar Spirits cannot be broken. As for the Good Lady Malakah... She did what any Minmatar worth thier clone would do... and became a martyr of the cause.

Our spirits are stronger than you think, Amarrian. Only a Minmatar who has died in slavery has a broken spirit.
When we banished you from our borders, God saw fit to judge us as worthy opponants, if you really want to belive in the divine, and God who guided you and your Amatarr colaborators to defeat. I suggest you bare that in mind. ---------------------------------

II Actually,
And I will admit I was outgunned, so i decided to do the most intelligent thing and withdraw.
Or don't they teach that concept in your little book?

I guess for once that I shall not argue with your logic, and to your credit you came to Amarr with another frigate jock a bit later.
Pity we were assembling a real battlegroup just as you did ;) ----------------------------------------------
