Hello all,
I made a silly mistake and failed to pay the rent on an office where I had a cruiser and carrier BPO copying.
The cruiser BPO came out and I managed to get the BPCs back from the impound but the BPO is missing. I raised a petition in the Factories and Labs section but I have not had an answer from a GM. After a week I raised a stuck petition, after some advice I read in here, but the GM responded saying sorry cant help and passed my petition on!
My carrier BPO is due to come out in a few days and I dont want this to happen as to that BPO as its pays for the fuel for my POS and if I have to wait several weeks to get it back then I may run in to problems.
What can I do as the GMs are not answering my petitions? I have been told that even if I re-rent an office in that station then the BPO will vanish, is this correct?

It isn't so much that the BPO will vanish if you rent a new office. The real problem is that each office has a unique id and the delivery hangar ID is set when the job is created. When you rent a new office, you don't get the same ID as the one the job is set to deliver to.
The exact same problem is what makes repackaging cancel insurance. The policy is still valid, but when you unpackage the ship you get a new unique ID which doesn't match the one listed on the policy.
If you actually read these forums, you would see that there are currently tons of people having this problem. I can't imagine what is so hard about paying rent every 30 days that no one can seem to do it.
For extra fun, there seem to be only a very few people at CCP who can actually fix this and other similar problems, and they must be totally overwhelmed because petitions are going for weeks without answer.

Alot of the overload is due to the copy issue with Alliance POS's in High sec. It took 8 (ish) days for a return, and then they (the BPCs) were placed in the corp CEOs personal hanger by the GM. Standard policy i was told. You might want to check the impound tab and delivery tab in the corp section, have the ceo check his/her holdings.

I do read these forums as thats where i got the advice to put in the stuck queue, but that didnt work for me 
The reason that the rent went unpaid was that I created a new corp "Animal Instint Technologies" so that I could anchor a hi sec POS. What happened was that I rented a new office under this corp but forgot about my other corp "Animal Instinct". When I came to log on the char that had taken over the corp to release another BPO I then realised that I hadnt paid the rent.

i have the same problem ..
dint pay the rent cose i was out of the gountry
and had no acces to a pc..
i have 11 jobs instaled in that pos..
2 bpo's are missing atm.. petition is not working..
do i lost my bpo's?

As stated this can be fixed only by GM
had the same thing happen to a very valuable t2 bpo have to say the weeks wait was quite frightening.

Ive currently got 2 tech2 ship bpos missing due to this. Its some assurance reading this as no one is saying they never got them back.
It was due to the new wallet system. I didnt figure that the rent will only come out of the master wallet so I had most of the funds in a division. Not enough in the master wallet to cover the rent even though there was plenty in other divisions.
Kind of anoying... im missing out on some serious isk by not being able to build these while the GMs get round to sorting it out.

Nearly off topic, but why isn't it possible to install jobs from personal hangar? Why do the copy/research job need to be installed from corp hangar?

If the rent expires while you have a BPO copying even if you pay the rent when delivered the BPO goes into limbo, to be recovered only by a GM .... took 3 weeks last time (and that was only because I got the ear of a GM while answering a corp mates even older petition)... Also helped that I told him WHAT BPOs were missing :\ scary to think if I hadn't noticed I would have never got it back.
But yes, they still exist and a GM can get them back. The hard bit is actually getting a hold of a GM.
