It's the sequel to Frontier. I found it for a fiver by pure luck on my hols 2 year ago but there's still no support in it from DOSBox. And I've never been able to find Frontier anywhere.
(So here's hoping someone's crazy enough to make something like what you linked to for First Encounters)

Originally by: Miss Anthropy I doubt that will happen to be honest. Elite and Frontier: Elite 2 are the ones people remember most fondly. First Encounters was pretty crap compared to these two.
Which is exactly why I'm not chuffed at my lack of a copy of Frontier.

The Amiga version on PC?
Just on that note: PC drives that can read Amiga-formatted floppies off-the-shelf (ergo without some hackery on the part of the player) are somewhat "hen's teeth" in my area at least - most likely non-exisitant altogether - but with a real Amiga or a hacked-up PC drive, the disks could be ripped to ADFs to play on WinUAE. But not GLFrontier. Dunno if a CD version was released for the Miggy though, but I doubt it. Even if there was, would GLFrontier like it? Again, I doubt it.

Wish i could but i`ve not got an Amiga nemore
You can play Frontier Elite on the PC with CLICK ME as the OP said or u can try and get the adf file for Frontier Elite and use it with winUAE.
BTW ne1 know of a copy of Frontier Elite II adf for winUAE ?
What you're asking for is kinda against the rules, but I can point you to something legitimate.
www.eliteclub.co.uk
Those guys have shareware versions, even on ADF, only changes made, I beleive, were just the replacement of the Konami and GameTek logos in favour of "Frontier Dev."
Don't worry, it's legit, I found that site via Frontier Development's (which is founded and run by David Braben) site.

ok with this what do i use for that? I running XP so umm what do i do?
You can use the WinUAE emulator if you want to use the ADFs, but you'll need a Kickstart ROM. I personally don't condone googling one since it's illegal to use a Kickstart ROM, you don't legally own, which is why I just bought Amiga Forever.
If you want to run the DOS version though, just use DOSBox or GLFrontier.

Yeah i kind of guessed that after i went google looking .... but i did manage to pick up the Elite adf file and the ROMS to play em in winUAE
Seen as i`ve got the original Amiga Frontier Elite II discs could i make a copy to play with winUAE ? and if so how ? and what about converting the file to adf format ???
The easiest way would be with a real Amiga, and the next best option requires fiddling with your PC Floppy drive.
