At the present time we can view our skills but nothing more. We need to beable to change skills when we log in on another computer. This would be helpful to all players. What do you think?

Probably the same thing people have been asking for for years but will never happen. The 'Let Us Change Our Skills Without Having To Have The Game Installed' thing.

It does suck to miss training time when life throws you a curve ball.
But if it's a big enough curve ball then eve seems irrelevant.

The Devs have said that they won't let you change skills without logging into the game but they have accepted the idea of Skill Queues as something that they are looking to develop.
Quote: Skill Training - Queue or Dual training
This could enable players to either queue skills so that when one level finishes the next level in that skill starts training automatically, or another preset skill starts training automatically. Dual training would enable you to have a primary long-term skill in training with a secondary short-term skill sharing the training time. After a level in the secondary skill has trained, the primary skill trains at full speed again.

Worst,idea,ever!
Then the iskfarmers just needs to start a new account, ask for ISK for "newbie player, not affiliated ever with north/south, will use Sabre in 1 month"
And when I thought lag was bad.....

I'm not sure that simply letting a skill continue training up to the next level would automatically usher in a new age of character farming. You'd need to be able to make a complex "set it and forget it" skill queue, EvEmon-style, to do that. Since 80% of the skillpoints are in the last level, this only adds 25% to the maximum time you can be away from your character without losing skillpoints. I don't think this would destroy EvE. It would just be a workaround for the notorious 6-hour skills that are such a PITA at the moment.
Artificially imposing inconveniences does NOT deter farmers; it actually encourages people to buy from them. CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that. |

First they need to end being able to finish training of a skill without an active account. At that point they can add dual-training/queue for the people that want to pay to be able to continue to train another skill after another one completes.
