Annya Avishnaya Sadist Faction	Posted - 2007.07.07 15:01:00 - [1] Ladies and gentlemen, it's my pleasure to announce that Sadist Faction is now opening recruitment. We're a strictly anti-pirate corporation that strives to make things interesting and keep our integrity and uphold the values of our corp. We are looking for mature pilots who believe in maintaining a certain amount of class and reputation while willing to restrict themselves to fighting only pilots with -0.1 security status and below. We are primarily a PVP based corp, so we will not allow ourselves to get top-heavy with people that will refuse to engage in these activities. While we are mainly an anti-pirate corp with an S&M "flavour", we do accept mission-runners, miners, industrialists and scientists who are interested in helping to develop something larger than themselves. There are no strictly enforced group activities or required type of gameplay, however you will get out of it what you put into it. We are not a bunch of "All pirates must die!!!" people with a real hate-on for pirates. We chose this direction for the corp for the relative uniqueness of this type of activity and the RP value of it. It's widely accepted that being anti-pirate full-time in lowsec is eve on hard mode, and that's what intrigues us. We're after good fights vs people that know what they're doing. It should not have to be said, but regardless: Despite what the roleplay undertone of the corp may imply, we maintain a very healthy environment for female gamers. I do not tolerate anyone making advances on the female part of the community and such actions will be dealt with very harshly- one warning then removal from the corp. Here's what we want: We're looking for mature players 18 years of age or older willing to engage in PVP regardless of their in-game age or profession. We provide ship replacement programs and training for new players(and players new to PVP) to get them into our anti-pirate operations early and help them gain valuable combat experience. On this note, strictly miners, industrialists and mission-runners are being accepted, but only a few positions are available- we want PVP-ers for the most part. We also accept a few new players per month and help them develop as much as we can. If you're new and want to try your hand at anti-piracy then look us up! People applying to our corp must agree to follow our corp rules, which are as follows: -No smack-talk in local. Talking in local is fine, but be respectful. There's no need to drag our corp's reputation(such as it is) through the mud with selfish smack. -You may only engage targets with security status of -0.1 or lower. We are now officially anti-pirate and everyone must act accordingly. -No ransoms. We attack pirates only and they must be destroyed. Ransoming is not a part of the deal. -No logging in combat. Ever. It's lame and everyone that does it should die repeatedly. -Always, ALWAYS honour 1v1 agreements. -No scamming in any form. -Talk like a normal human being in corp chat. "how r u 2day" makes baby jesus kill a kitten, so don't do it. Please! Think of the kittens! And the English language! And my sanity!! Stuff like ftw/ftl is ok though. I'm not asking for perfect english, just none of that immature "leetspeak" crap. -Always be respectful to your corpmates. If you have a problem with anyone(even me), please talk to myself or another director about it and we'll do our best to straighten things out. At the moment, we're only asking that players be 15 days old or greater to weed out the trial accounts/alts. We do try to only accept only two or three totally new player per month so we can give them the correct time and guidance to teach them the ins and outs of Eve, especially when it comes to pvp and lowsec survival. We, in general, aren't on it unless we're on pvp ops, and it is very much mandatory that you be able to listen and talk on vent if you want to participate in pvp. Now! We'd especially love a few experienced battleship and recon pilots to help round out our fleet, and as always we're looking for a lot of EU players(and we're still accepting NA players as well)! We are very relaxed in terms of time-online requirement. Just ask Jodie - i'm known to log in, then go AFK unexpectedly for several hours (or days) at a time. RL > Eve, and we intend to keep it that way. Usually, as long as you let someone know that you'll have extended time off (such as vacation, etc) you should be just fine. None of our ops are mandatory though we do like seeing everyone participate once in a while when possible. We're still recruiting, but I regret to stay that recruitment is now closed to people under 6 million skillpoints. Those that have their applications in already will of course be considered and will go through our application process, and if any apply after this post we will save their application for a later date. Once we've got our current new players whipped into shape and and honed into well disciplined little sadists, we'll open our recruitment of new players once again. My current hope is to re-open recruitment to new pilots in about four to eight weeks. So as of now, Sadist Faction has a requirement of 6 million skillpoints and being combat focused, be it drones, missiles, or guns. PVP experience is a benefit, but not required. We're quite aware of that and attempt to check the pilot's corp's background before engaging, however sometimes there just isn't time and bad things happen.
