I want to try out the "pingplotter" software but i am not sure if I am doing it right.
It is the ip address I want to ask about. Is there a certain ip that I can ping to, to try to check the connectivity of my eve client?
87.237.38.200 is the one I am trying now.

Sure looks like that's the proper host. At least that's what my client is connected too...

Try 87.237.39.199 instead

Why ping the website if you want to check client issues?

87.237.38.200 is listed in forums as the ip to ping, but I see Jim and others trying the other ip, has ccp changed the game ip or was it alway different?

Well, to clear it up:
- The main Eve web server (www.eve-online.com) has a IP of 87.237.39.199.
- The forum part of the Eve web server (myeve.eve-online.com) has a IP of 87.237.39.200
- The actual Eve game cluster has a IP of 87.237.38.200.
So its just a matter of tracing different locations, depending on if your problems are with the game server or the web server. These traces does make it look like they are in the same location though, but I think they are supposed not to be...

Thanks for clearing that up Jim, I guess it depends on where your problem is. I know Sisi is listed as 87.237.38.50
Hope it helps anyone who need to check their isp or connection problems
