I've just checked the map and the borders of jove space are showing security ratings of higher than 0.0, has this always been the case? I seem to remember last time i looked they were all 0.0, Is this the beginnings of jove space opening up or am i just seeing things that were already there.

IM not liking the Jove thing anymore since they abandoned it, They should planned that race more before going into it half assed

There also used to be higher security status systems in the yet unopened area to the right of jovian space which have led me to believe that prime fiction isn't all set. They're gone now, my guess was that an amarr holder would exile himself there and create a 7th sanctioned government body.

Who says they have abodoned it?!??!
CCP will include Jovian space later on when the galaxy is full of ppl! If they would open that space now all curious ppl would go there and it would lead to a node overload, maybe the crash of EVE for a couple hours!

Jove space will come when either 1 of 2 things happen.
#1- Existing space finally gets sorta full and they progress the storyline to open jovian space.
#2- They hit tech lvl 5 and now need something new to feed the players besides tech levels so they decide to just throw jovian space into the mix. No doubt it won't take long for a Jovian Alliance to form and the space to shut down.

That or the caldari and/or minmatar faction alongside the jovians will expand their domains to close the gape between them, eliminating 0.0 space and the ability to close jovian space down.

I think it'll be totally cool when I finally get to see or even interact with the Jove race. If I had the opportunity for my character to switch and play Jove at some point, I'd be there for sure.
I've heard many people theorize about what they are supposed to be, and how they will relate to the game....some people even make very "matter of fact" posts... I think no one know for sure, except the devs.
The Jove are mysterious, that's for sure...and whos to say that in itself isn't all part of the master plan.

The jovians, is the recorded history, are still in a bad shape. I think that they simply exist fir the history and that they will not have any more roles in EVE.

So why is one of the dev's playing as a jove? and how do you think we ended up with the miner 2's before the castor patch???

I see two natural entrypoints to jovian space, unless I'm wrong one is going to be shut down by Bigbird and the other by the Muppets. I hope they have something better up their sleaves than turning jovian space over to pirates.
