Requirements:
1. At least 100 members, preferably 200+... the more the better.
2. Must have a claim on some area of 0.0 space. i.e. part of the Curse Alliance, etc. I WILL NOT JOIN ANY PART OF THE FOUNTAIN ALLIANCE... I learned my lesson.
3. Has mature members. I think we all know what this means.
4. Does many things. Not just mining, but fighting too. And maybe even some pirating. Pirating is good.
5. Has a sense of honor. Meaning that you won't log off to escape like m0o, and don't spend your days ganking noob frigates.
6. Is willing to help out the newer players as long as the newer players help in return--i.e. none of the "get it all yourself" attitude.
I'm a Caldari... 300k skill points, pretty experienced with EVE. I was in beta, so when I came back, there wasn't that much more to learn , although Castor did screw with everything a bit. I'm going for Amarr Battleship skill (for an Apocalypse), the skills for MWDs, Deep Core Mining, and whatever else I happen to see along the way that I want to train .
My current ship is a Punisher with 3 Medium Pulse Lasers and a smartbomb, plus an AB and shield recharger. I also have an Imicus for long-range cargo hauling.

Point 3 pretty much rules out most of the eve player base.

Not true. I'm not looking for a pirate corp, I'm looking for a corp that has a stake in 0.0 space,i i.e part of curse alliance, etc. And point number 3 doesn't rule much out at all... most EVE players are very mature. Rules out m0o though :)
