Do they count killmails with only frindlies, but no BoB in it on the killboard?: No

Do they count mails that dont have a BoB member as the one with the final blow?: Yes

I short BoB imports killmails from friendlies if there is a BoB member on it. This means that you could have a mail with 99 frindlies and 1 BoB on it. (I guess the favors BoB in a bad way giving them a cheap kill.) It also mean that a kill by 99 BoB and one friendly who happens to get final blow is also there. (That of course favors BoB in a good way as that is a kill they should have.) So in any case it favors BoB k:d statistics, but its far better than what happends to k:d statistics if you "forget" to post your own deaths...

By the sounds of it there is no clear winner in this conflict, the towers remain in 9-9 and that was achieved through numerous losses on one side.

Bobbits didnt get what they set out to get but they got nice battles, battles that they won it seems.

Goons got what they wanted but lost a lot of ships.

I know there is bad blood between the parties involved and that forum warage is a tradition in eve, but god damn man this sounds like some frigging EPIC stuff.

I like mine too. I don't know what kind of new math BoB is using over there, but apparently i'm at 1.2b, for 147m worth of losses.

Which of course is completely and utterly meaningless, if you can't achieve alliance level objectives like saving reinforced Sov-claiming POS's. There's a reason OUR killboard doesn't have these stupid isk ratios. At best, they are completely misleading.

Are GoonSwarm ever going to be allowed to build up in any way in 0.0 space again?

No. For the moment, we are leaving syndicate but we will continue to monitor the GoonSwarm and should we feel that they have done anything of note in the game, we will destroy it.

Wonder, if you were already playing, when DB Preacher was writing that.

It's as useless as the: 'We didn't want that anyway.' quote, which probably came from -V- losing JLO due to poses going offline. Which makes me think: 'Stupid Goon. Has no idea what's behind it !', everytime I see it, because:

- Goonfleet had spies in -V-, so they knew what we were doing. Well known fact, since they brought LD's speaches to EVE-O.

- JLO was about to be given away to OPUS alliance, because almost noone used JLO due to the new refinery in KZF. Not everyone knew it, but everyone, who was interested in it, got to know it. Think, if JLO hadn't been in transition to OPUS, the guys, who forgot the fueling due to RL issues wouldn't have been responsible for JLO's poses in the first place. So no chance for Goonswarm to take it at that time.

- So Goonfleet also should have known that losing JLO was more an annoying embarrassing incident for -V-, than a heavy loss

- Goonfleet didn't use the station themselves either, after they had it, at least for a few months. I visited it several times and there were usually only 3-4 people in local. All Goons were hugging in C-J together with Red, although JLO was Goonfleets first station in Scalding Pass.

Think it's extremely ironic and the new Goons that quote it, have no clue. Somehow funny.

And yes, this was not really much on topic, but considering that this thread is 95% spamming and quoting spam anyway, does it really matter ? I'd say: 'Not at all. This thread is already a junkyard.'

btw mark syrus, when we challenge bob to these orderly duels of xvsx number of ships, what font should we use in the challenge? i want to make sure that we have an air of legitimacy to this war at long last. also, how many kms out should the battle start at? any limitations to damage types? what about tanks? maybe we should ask neither side to omni tank.

how exactly do people propose that we ensure that fights are fair in terms of numbers? are we supposed to poll bob as to how many ships theyre going to be bringing to 9-9? and lets say we COULD do that, how do we choose who gets to go out and fight? are we only allowed to take the first 125 people who x for gang and then tell anyone else who wants in "nope sorry, bob only brought 110 and we already have 111, youll have to wait for another battle"?

I am merely stating that if Noobswarm wants to feel high and mighty and prove that they are not meatshields. They will take a note from BOB and and keep the fighting on the battlefield...and the propaganda off the forums. I find it hard to believe that GOON is a powerful alliance when it takes them 2,3,4 pilots to every 1 bob pilot just to take them down. if anything if proves to me how bob continues to strive in the area of pvp. it also proves that noobswarm leadership realizes that there pilots arent strong enough to fight on a level playing field.

great point, which furthers my previous points. if Noobswarm realizes that they dont have the sheer experience/skillpoints to win without blob tactics. they should come out and say that BOB is Superior in that regard, and that it takes 2,3,4 goon pilots to equal that of one BOB pilot. thats what it seems like your saying to me. If your alliance is going to take down the "big bad BOB Alliance" do it with honor. Dont come to the forum and make it seem like your are "wtfpwning bob". when in reality it takes 4 of you to to bring down one bob.

When Shrike Lost his titan, I read nothing but smacktalk from the goon side, while I saw nothing but "good fights, nice job, and see you on the battlefield" from the BOB + ally side. Its great to feel like you accomplished something as a team, I am all for that. But when you prop yourselves up to appear to be something that your not, or act like 12 year olds from WOW. You are no longer representing the "noobs" of the galaxy, in your fight against the players with lots of sp. You are reinforcing the negative opinions towards lower sp players.

I challenge Goonswarm to step up to the plate. prove to the eve galaxy that although you dont have the sp or the experience. That you can still come together as one disciplined group that fights with honor. So in the end, the only thing we shall see in the forums are battle reports from both sides, and props on good fights.
