I have been in yesodic nomads corp (YNC) and DOOM most of my eve career, almost 3 years now, many people know me many dont.
i recently started a new job which is 5 x 12 hr nightshifts weekly including weekends, and i felt i couldnt commit my time to DOOM or TRI now cos of the hrs i was working.
I can now only play perhaps 1 or 2 hrs a day and 1 or 2 nights per week time permitting.
i decided to go back to my old corp YNC and be a 1 man corp and war decc some alliance and random corps so at least i could hopefully get pvp when i log on with my limited hrs.
i war decced FLA alliance 500+ members who reside in and around pureblind and lonetrek region and 2 other random decentish sized corps.
i found trying to get a fight was almost impossible unless they totally outnumbered me they wouldnt fight at all.i was having to take on 4, 5, 6 ,7 people at once to get a fight and found that a lot of people moved regions etc to avoid fighting. it seriously got me down, with all these targets not being able to get hardly any decent fights.
i had many fights where i was vastly outnumbered and a lot of people know me, i think nothing of fighting outnumbered and against the odds, ync and doom and tri have done that ever since ync and doom and exanimo formed TRIUMVIRATE. even so with my limited hrs i was depressed that in 2 weeks i only got 32 kills and 2 losses (blobbed by 13 but took 2 down first)and i spent many hrs hunting around not being able to find targets or when i did people wouldnt undock.
is this the case for all empire wars now? or just that people dont want to pvp anymore, it seriously got me down and i will probably rejoin doom and tri in the next few weeks cos to me now empire wars just suck

Honestly, its the new wave of eve. Corps are fat with 50+ roaming bs gangs, and hardly ever go smaller. Its gank or be gank, and numbers are what most people think wins. True more than not, but there are some corps out there that prove its not quantity, but quality that get the job done (take a look at outbreaks killboard, for one)
What some people do is just war dec a "big" alliance full of carebears in empire (goons etc) and go wack them. But you aren't gonna get that rush like you do wading into a 3 on 5 or something.
GL, was fun last year with you all and DEQS, no quarter, no retreat, great little battles, without the blobs..

Does that really surprise you? I for myself fly though empire to get some money together or buy a new pvp ship. My ship is not fitted and i am not willing to fight against someone inside a Command Ship while i sit there in my T1 fitted Battelcruiser/Cruiser. Yeah, i know its fun to have easy targets, but sorry.
Its not a secret where you can find FLA, so if you wish to fight us, why dont you go there? Another "ex" Tri corp did a really good job in camping the right gates and killing people left and right when we gather for operations, so i dont think you'll have a hard time.

If you want serious pvp why dont you war dec serious pvp corps?
There are quite a few pvp corps that hang around Lonetrek.
The Initative and Mentaly unstable are a couple that used to be around there.
Seems to me your looking for some inexperianced people to shred in your EoS if thats what you still fly.
You proberly have 5 or 6 times the amount of skill points as most the people your trying to bully so dont complain if they bring 4 or 5 times the amount of ships to the table.

Lol what a joke, your whole post is half about you boasting and half about you whining the targets your wardecked arent doing their best to make *you* have fun.
So what exactly do you expect from FLA, that they add you to adressbook and as soon as you log in they move over to empire and form a qeue to challenge you 1v1? Share plz :)

To all the people slating boo here, lets have a look at the facts and then tell me if it's such a bad thing to do.
FLA are an alliance who are renowned for putting up a hell of a fight no matter what. They are currently based in empire, and opperate in the pipe of which boo resides.
You look at that and there is no better option for a war. Just so happens that their putting up a fight reputation has faded away.

You either have to put some pressure on their carebear activities or they won't do anything about you.

Outbreak only proves how OP roaming vaga's/sabres/machs are. There is a reason those (well, vaga and sabres) are the choice for gankings. Yah they fly a CMD Ship now and then but if you look at their KB most of there kills come from small/solo vaga/sabre gangs.
I guess you can call that skill

Most ppl have gotten smarter, and no longer afk travel under wardec (finally. I mean how many freighters and haulers full of T2 goodies/moon minerals/reaction materials/t2 components/zydrine do ppl have to lose to get it.)
Nine times out of ten a lone "good target" (BS/HAC/Command ship) means trap, and 5 other guys just waiting in the station/next system, so it is refreshing to see that most ppl have learned to avoid that trap...

There is difference between trap and solo ship waiting to be ganked.
During FLA empire war i managed to AFK on gate 2h+ sometimes and when i got back my ship was still there. I guess any decent PvP corp would gank me after 15-20 minutes of my stay tops.
And more - atm its not "trap!" thing. Its more like "logoffski/dockski" thingy.

Eh its an empire war. What do ya expect. 24/7 camping you guys in a station? Honestly its not worth engaging an enemy in empire because there are too many places to hide and too many rules. Its really not practical and a logistics nightmare trying to find a name in local in 100+ systems. Plus u hardly ever get a straight fight and our pilots are trained for 00 warfare not empire gank. Not gonna solo a command ship in my thorax either.
As for us not putting up a fight, remeber the BC vs Faction BS fight or yesterday when a thanatos went after your mach pilot after he popped me. When u guys got skull, we got a nice 8 man Heavy Ships gang and went lookin for ya.
Empire wars just arnt that fun
A guy from GONADS said my alliance is dead.....
