Guys.
This is the BEST pirate corp in the game, if noy the BEST corp.
Everyone knows of SI, they have some of the best PVPers out there, viceroy/drunkenmaster/leitari, and when it comes to making movies, these guys rock.
No smack is every given, they play the game how it should be done, and they seem to have a hell alot of fun, if i hadnt chosen my path, u would most deff have my application.
No1 flame this recruitment post, it would just show how mature u really are .

Sadly there is not much pirating these days, we got a Rupture and Dominix pilot to eject lastly, that was sweet and we all remembered the good old days of traditional pirating.
If we set up for armed robbery, we get jumped often by fleets who outtank and outgun and outnumber us often (like those 20 RONA-KIA/Bladerunners battleships yesterday) and sadly the solution to this is not to fight, but to run.
I miss the days of holding up people at gates/belts on regular basis and ransoming them instead of blowing them up to get some cargo loot or equipment.
We'll see what the future will bring for SPVD.

My recomendation would have to be expand your corp with more good pvper's(not as easy as it sounds) till yous can generally feild a fleet of about 20 bs and go******a regional alliance that outnumbers you about 10 to 1.
Tis quite fun ia assure you and gets alot of loot.

Jepp, SI are the best. If you really want to be a pirate then SI would be the best corp to join. Not only would you have fun but you would probably in time be one of the best PVP'ers in game... If only SI had been recruting when i started to play EVE.. then i, if SI had accepte me would have been a pirate and not a pirate hunter ;)

I think the only reason so many ships turn up at the moment is that SPVD are part of a large pirate alliance. As such we always have to assume that you will have large numbers.
When we hunt pirate corps such as Jokers, we tend to use smaller fleets (except occaisonally just for tactical reasons :P) of say 3-4 ships.
I fully understand why you don't stay and fight. If the roles were reversed, I can honestly say I'd run and hide till the threat had passed as well. Then return when numbers were low etc.
If your still wanting to hold people up, the only way I can think of doing it, is keeping away from that larger FE fleets or areas occupied by Fe, as these are the areas large fleets are likely to hit.
In the early days SI moved around making large fleet attacks pointless, by the time the fleets assembled, si would be long gone and pirating elsewhere..
I hope SI find a way to continue the old methods of pirating they used. Although with the gate guns been in 0.1 to 1.0 I can't see how you can pirate any way other than the gank and collect loot style. Plus with less reasons to be out in 0.0 at the moment, this makes it even harder to do any other type of pirating :(
It's a shame nobody listens to reason about sentrys in 0.1 - 0.4 they do nothing but encourage the gank style of play.

Well guys, thx for the nice words but this has been a pointless attempt do get people to spam Viceroy with mails and convo's.
Hicks - pirating in 0.1 - 0.4 is futile, ganking is the only way to go and Im not into that, its too boring. You could be shooting npc's instead and get the same thrill from it.
I was a little surprised to see you guys (KIA) in Orvolle yesterday, you getting into anti pirate business?
As for the sentry issue, I hope CCP will see the light, there are only a few places actually worthy of camping, Im not going to spend an evening of camping just killing a few frigates (if Im lucky) and maybe even a single cruiser. Traffic has to be sufficient enough for this to pay off. Risk vs Benefits.

It's funny to play with Castor, I think the game is on a good way, hope that some player controlled space structures will be coming soon.

Don't agree to that, the empire will defend itself, there are more places than gates. And its only a mather of time till there is more space than only gates (warp disruptor array's)

My main characters corp has been having a running battle with SI for a few weeks. And am fairly impressed with the skills of some of the SI players.
While I am anti pirate, if my main corp wasn't at war with em I would consider joining with an alt because I think I could learn a lot off some of the more experienced PVPers.

HEHE Rona-kia was set up as a pvp corp. As the only people we can fight now with out a massive fleet then i think you could say we are going in to the anti pirate business

Got a nice screenie of drunken doing a potential exploit with his alt Rex Kramer.
Parked rex(from another corp) right next to his mega so the splash damage would cause concord to intervene. Guess he was to scared to loose his mega after running a little earlier from a scorp
Sent it to CCP interested in what they do with it.

LOL Are you the moron using torps at the Yulai gate in Amarr?
You would have splash damaged everyone, regardless if he had his alt with him.
He always has rex with him, in a blackbird, with remote sensor boosters or remote tracking links, its what we always do.
Lots of times we'll have 3 badgers all with tracking links, and we hit with wrecking damage each time.
The tactics we pull out our ass sometimes baffle me..

Nah, oddly enough, its usually about 20km away, and out of the way.
Don't worry, I got splash damage on rex and CONCORD took my caracal..
Why isn't it in SI? Well why should it be? If you hit him, then silly you..
Not too much of a different tactic then when TASC target spammed us.. yet your allied with them.

Rex Kramer is Drunkenmaster's second account. It is non of your business what he does with it. He is not abusing game mechanics in any way, as far as you're concerned he's just another player looking for some action.
We have petitioned when KG used alts to attract splash damage, and the GMs said it was a legimate tactic. As long as it is a legimate tactic, we will use it too. It is the only way to balance warfare in empire space.
Making up stupid excuses for your incapability to fight us makes you laughable. Especially when you accuse a corporation with the reputation of Space Invaders with stupid exploits.

Also, Setenta, you should know that it's rude to open war on a corporation without any provocation, or communication. Just an email saying 'RAAAGH!, DIE SPAEC VADERS!!!1' would have been adequate. But no.
You say we have only taken out a few cheap/insured ships, but so what dude, *you* started this war, not us. We don't have to prove anything here. I shoot your ships down because they got little red boxes around them, by your request.

good tactic BTW, never used tracking links, but may try now.

badger w/tracking links will double your optimal range and tracking speed.
With rex, and remote sensor boosters, I can target a pod in under a second. A demonstration of this will probably be in my next video.
A frigate gank&pod takes about 9 seconds from 'targettable' to green splash.
Once again, Space Invaders come to the saviour of the 'unused' modules.
The fact that these guys can pick up your loot0r too, is just an added bonus.

I was thinking of getting a second char, just for this option.
We have some guys that give us shield and speed bonus when un gang, its rather nice, slightly bugged as you you seem to lose a little shields when u jump, but still works well.

To continue this off topic post even more. I am I new member of the corp so I cant make any comment on you not recieving a reason, but to my knowledge you tried to extort isk out of an ally, so when you declared war on them we reciprocated. As you would expect from fellow alliance members.
