Your sig has forced me to torrent and watch all of Ergo Proxy. GREAT.
Seems pretty awesome so far though. ------------ LAG - Hopefully teen-appropriate now. IBTL! IBDS/DC! IBTC! 1st in a BoB post! And other such forum tom-foolery. |

Yes. I'm currently YouTubing the 2nd episode, so far I have been pleased. Great visuals if absolutely nothing else. ------------ LAG - Hopefully teen-appropriate now. IBTL! IBDS/DC! IBTC! 1st in a BoB post! And other such forum tom-foolery. |

Is this a suggestion that it has no other redeeming features?
Story is by far the most important element to me... -

Not at all - but I havn't gotten far enough into it to make any other serious judgements on it. Give me a couple hours. ------------ LAG - Hopefully teen-appropriate now. IBTL! IBDS/DC! IBTC! 1st in a BoB post! And other such forum tom-foolery. |

It's very heavy on philosophical, literary and cultural references. On of those series you gotta think along with.
That said, for me, everything started to sink in the second time I watched it. Good series. I'd recommend.

It loads extremely fast here, whether using DailyMotion or Stage6; probably like 5-10 times faster than Youtube.

You're lucky then. Most of TV-Links takes loads at about 2% a minutes for me. If ever I want to watch something, I have to click it and go do something else for an hour --------

Oh dear GOD, not Ergo Proxy!
I started watching it, I liked it.
Half way through it got a little boring.
THEN WHAT THE FANDANGLES? What's going on? Why is this happening? Subs are unable to follow the plot with any decency what so ever! Argh. When it ended it got a little confusing to say the least. On the other hand, I guess that's variety for you, even if a lot of things are never answered. One episode you're running from an knight army, the next you're on a game show...

Youtube actually removed them as I was watching them. Switching to Stage6 now and torrenting on the side. ------------ LAG - Hopefully teen-appropriate now. IBTL! IBDS/DC! IBTC! 1st in a BoB post! And other such forum tom-foolery. |

streaming=failure
'Buffering' is actually the process by which the Fail that gets embedded in the file due to streaming is removed. If you transmitted images with the much raw Fail in them straight to the screen, it would instantly stop working. - Sig rotator removed. Please e-mail us to find out why. -ReverendM

*maniacal laughter*
It's a pretty trippy show. They definitely take it in a different direction than I was thinking, but in my opinion that kind of originality in anime is rare. :)
It's not that it's my favorite anime of all time or anything, but the character designs are pretty awesome.

I was wondering how long it would take you to notice this.

i felt the same way too but i kept watching because i wanted to know how it ends; wasn't very impressed (and the last scene of the last episode was dumb) but it's still ok more original than i imagined it would end.
some episodes though really don't fit with the plot, hell the plot is only a background story for them, i still wonder why did they include those.... no sig here |
