I was wondering if there is a specific ship, for example Tengu's for Gurista/Serpentis plexing that can be used for Sansha plexing. I've done a bit of reading and found that most people tank with an AF and use their gang to kill the rats, but what is best for solo plexing? I've been trying to create different T3 fits but haven't been able to find an appropriate one. Any help with fits or specific ships would be much appreciated. Not sure how much tank you'll need but an artie Loki with light drones would work fine imo. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

I prefer active tank ships and I just speed tank (650+ m/s) and orbit about 30-40km out. I am still tinkering with a mix of low and mids for targeting mods and power, but this fit is roughly similar to what I am using. You might need to go with smaller guns depending on your skill set. I group the guns in pairs. I can target out to over 86km, optimal is 18km with short range ammo and falloff is 43km. The drone link is a personal choice, but I often swap it out for other toys. Per my tastes, it is cap stable and not stupid expensive. I usually end up with a nice spiraling ring of wrecks in the pockets when I'm done. There is actually a very good reason for using Acolytes over Hobs and the drone augmentation link is part of that. I can target the long range ships outside their engagement range and send the drones to harass them. Acolytes are much faster than Hobs so they can pull aggro and hold it, but they are too fast for the BS ships to pop them. They just sit and spin in place while I pick them off. But yeah, under normal combat conditions I run 50/50 Acs/Hobs. Why are my neocom icons so tiny? Oh, you can widen and narrow the bar. Cool.-á

Yes it is expensive btw :P But soloing anything short of a crazy torp 10/10 you'll earn that back pretty fast. Edit: By the way you can use a HML fit for an even better tank since you will no longer need the TP and can fit another resist. With that you will have up to 1600 DPS Sansha tank and far more range and ability to hit frigates. You will just also lose some of the DPS. I just wanted to prove that it can equal the DPS of the other T3s without Kinetic ammo :3 Ferox #1

I've managed to solo everything up to and including 7/10 DED plexes and of course Sanctums. However, although the tank was sufficient for any escalations I came across, I really found the DPS lacking. For example, I couldn't even break the tank in a 8/10 DED that I found (Sorry, can't remember the name). I never progressed past any of the first rooms in escalations because I wanted to try and solo them so I can't tell you how I found those Citadel Torpedo rooms. A corp-mate uses the Legion with some success, may be worth looking into. Thanks for your posts thus far, it has certainly given me some other ships to consider! E
