Ok. After numerous threadnoughts on the subject of the drone regions being totally lacking, very little of any use has actually happened there. I can only assume that this means the Drone Regions are as intended. I am therefore trying another tack.
If you are attempting this as some sort of experiment in the removal of ISK from the system, and making regions harder to pull massive money out of, then you've succeeded utterly. It's time to take your experiment live, and nerf the hell out of the other regions.
Lets tone them all down to where they can make the same isk per hour you can out our way, and reduce their available resources by the same amount.

There's been subtle signs on the evolution of EVE already Thoric :P It isn't a static game, and all elements are subject to the possibility of change - like the bounty mechanism on NPC's, the migration of high end resources of all types to exploration, the migration of belts to system wide belts, etcetera.
The drone regions originally had a focus behind them, which along the way was either dropped or forgotten. Understandable if you see how recent small fixes to for instance roid volumes had such great impacts on spawn rates, to name but one example.
Thing is the drone regions don't really follow the storylines in that regard, which is a bit of a shame.
Biggest issue at this point is exploration vs encounters, the absence of and the issues with, although I understand some of these issues are not specific to the drone regions.
One more thing, don't mind the upcoming mindless commentary from folks who don't know what the challenge of the drone regions has been and still is, or who's mental capabilities literally scream for a revival of the general market for intelligence implants. These are forums.

There will ALL ways be places there are "better" then ohters...
all ways places where ther are better loot then ohters... its a part of the game...
just get youre alliance out to fight for a "better" place if you dont like where you are...
CCP cant just go around each time there is an alliance there are crying becouse the gress is greener on the ohter side...
in eve you can do some about it... if you think youre next door alliance have a better play ground...
GO out and Take it form em... thats what eve is all about... if ALL was the same you had no wars at all

In that case I'm afraid you're missing the responses, feedback, acknowledgements and attempts of CCP to address the glitches and imbalances over a 9 month period.
I am sorry you fail to grasp the essentials, or are unable to make an effort to read a little bit, or acknowledge not being privvy to the problem, or even able to accept that the General Discussion forums do exist for subscribers to address in game situations and developments alike. My sympathies.
Either way, it is a bit sad. The drone regions were a bit like a new baby in Eve, 9 months later and it is stillborn.

if they really wanted to test out new ideas on us they'd buff the hell out of our exploration till we could compete then use that as a model for the changes they're planning to the rest of EVE.

WHAT EXACTLY WOULD YOU LIKE FIXED? Drones, by nature do not generate bounty. Drones, by nature, drop compounds--which, if you choose not to loot them, is your own problem. Drone REGIONS, by nature do not need higher ore amounts in their rocks, as this would make them the most valuable systems in the game when it comes to minerals.
again...all i hear in the OP is ***rabble rabble rabble, i cant make as much money in drone space as anywhere else rabble rabble rabble***

Bounties: I can live without them I guess. They're convenient, but not vital.
Highends: Drone compounds make up for the shortage, lowends are more of an issue.
All fine. But:
Standings: No bounty = no standings gain.
Equipment: T1 or T2. No named, everything is player built or imported. High prices.
Faction: No faction spawns = no faction loot. Dependence on imported goods to be able to field suitably-equipped ships, especially capitals.
Officers: Looking for that ultimate mod? Tough, go buy it elsewhere. Do it while you haul your Zyd back to empire, as you won't make any money in drone space.
Haulers: What, drones don't move resources around? Do they generate matter out of thin vacuum?
I appreciate that CCP has to experiment to get things right. I understand that cutting off the ISK-fountains is important. I like that new isn't necessarily a copy of old.
At the same time, they've had an age to address some of these issues and have not given any good reason why not to. Even if they came out right now and said "Drone regions have been finalised. What's there now is all there will ever be." then I'd be happy. That way nobody's holding their breath for something that might come soonÖ or never.

In all honesty, all 0.0 should be Rogue Drones...pirate NPCs should be low sec.

My guess is they pre nerfed the new regions so the board monkeys who are predominately affiliated with established alliances wouldnt go nuts over them dratted n00bs who arent part of the clique getting a chance to live the good life.
