It would be really nice to be able to fetch a players current assets. It is very hard to search and keep track of in game. If we could get a XML dump with all the assets locations and quantities it would be really handy. |

seconded. Enable peeking inside cans in stations while at it and I can fully automate my collection tracker! :)

I agree this would be useful, but it is also a major security problem if you give away your full access API key. This is probably why they won't implement it.

Security isn't a good enough reason not to implement this. The full API key is already a serious security threat when in the wrong hands. Even the low security key can be used to identify all chars tied to an account which many are uncomfortable with (wonder what they get up to with their alts  )
It would be good to implement this for items inventory as well as transaction matching and tracking. The security issue can be avoided entirely by not using it or giving out the full API key to others.

as well as all directors can fetch all assets for the corp, all cans, there contents, location, impounds, and delivery's.

I would love this!
It would be nice if it included additional info, such as Blueprint ME/PE and runs. That would make management of BPOs/BPCs a breeze.
Getting Corp Assets would be awesome as well.

having lots of information available outside game would be nice to create lag for the people who actually play the game
on the other hand there are probably limits to what information can be stored. ie: entity's assets would probably increase his key size to megabytes :P
