Ok, probably a really dumb question, but here goes:
I know that every MMO has veteran players. These players usually take noobs under their wing, so to speak, to help teach them the ropes.
Are there pirates, pirate corps and/or pirate alliances that take noobs under their wings to be pirates, or is that a life that one has to grow into?
Seems like it would be a perfect opportunity for veteran pirates to use and train noobs to better their respective corporations.
I'd appreciate any feedback you could give me. And, remember I'm a noob, so please be gentle.

Yes. Yes, I can.
But more seriously. There probably are some. This, however, is not the correct place to look for such assistance. You should go to Crime and Punishment and ask your question. Perhaps a kindly buccaneer will take pity on you and offer his insights.
Also, you could go to low sec, kill people, and take their stuff.
I'm just saying.
I used to get It.

Yes there are. If you ask this question in the recruitment forum, you should get offers from pirate corps who will take you in. My corp isn't a pirate corp, but we do teach classes in PVP combat, click on the icon in my signature for more information if you're interested.

Sad enough but Eve Pirates tend to kill new players instead of training them to be competion. And most Pirate Corps are not better then Mining corps, they use you to be bait or send you on suicide missions. This does not appply for all corps though...

Think Sniggwaffe is doing just that, but I don't know if they are recruiting at the moment.
If it is the PvP training you are after then EVE University and Agony Unleashed are holding more general PvP courses. Not specialized in Piracy but the theory of how to fit your ship, what tactics to use etc. is pretty similar.
