Omega Corp opens the doors of the OC War Academy for frigate pilots of all races. Our goal is to train frigate pilots in the art of combat. You'll take part in operations ranging from small raids to large fleet engagements of 50+ ships.
Free ships:
All frigates are provided to Cadets fully equiped at no cost to you. Loss of frigates is not a concern. Learning from each combat operation and having fun is your primary objective.
Cadet pay:
250,000 per operation will be paid to cadets for maintenance costs of thier frigate characters. Average military operations will last approx 2 hours.
Graduation/Sign-up Bonus:
Cadets that excell in their training and display "the right stuff" will be offered a starting position within Omega Corp (the sponsoring parent corp) and receive a 10,000,000 sign-up bonus if you accept.
Once a member in Omega Corp you will make tens of millions in just a few hours of corp mining ops. You will also get all the PvP fun you desire.
Who can join?
New alt chars designed specifically for frigate combat are preferred as clone travel will be required.
What skills do I need?
Here are some of the basics.- High Speed maneuvering (MWD)
- Lvl 3 frigate (preferably Caldari or Minmatar)
- Missile Launcher lvl 3 (prefer 5)
- Heavy Missiles lvl 3 (prefer Cruise missile)
- Electronics lvl 3
- Long Range Targeting
- Sensor Linking lvl 1
- Navigation lvl 4
- Afterburner lvl 4
- Propulsion Jamming lvl 2-3
- Mechanic lvl 1
How can I sign up?
Come to the oc-public chat channel in game. Ask to speak to someone about joining the OC War Academy. You will be interviewed and told where to submit your application. Further instructions will follow.

Funny, im still flying around in my Apoc since last night, and i was chasing pods all over in 36N after the main battle, so, exactly when did you kill me yesterday?
OC/OTC/VOTF got spanked in 36N, Homo went down since he was the only one who appeared uncloaked.
So pls, tell me again, when and where did you kill me yesterday?

Thank you. We should have probably been more specific. If you alt joins for this you main needs to join as well. We don't want people with a character in OC and a character in another corp.
Evol and OC may not like each other but we do respect our enemies. At least the ones that have the balls to back up what they say they can do, ie. Evolution.

Am I the only one who finds it a bit sad that the great Duke has resorted to recruiting noobs in kestrels in an attempt to disrupt Evo/SA? I guess thats about all he has left since we have been spanking his crew's ass for about a month strait now. Good luck Duke, just so you know we will send every one of your kamikaze morons back to you in a body bag.

Well anything posted by an evolution member these days i tend to disregard, we can admit to losses, we can respect opponents, as we realise it's "JUST A FRICKEN GAME".
Evolution? Slagg anyone and anything not up their backside on the forums. You deny! deny! deny! deny! any losses, which is fair enough - your choice, but dont expect any credblity from people soon. Your corp seriously troubles me. You have SERIOUS issues when it comes to this game and i suggest you take a break from it or something. The sheer ammonosity you show towards opponents is rivaled only by people who show a distinct HATE for someone. I would say direspect, but the desperation in Molle recently would dictate hatred.
You guys should honestly review how you act in this game, it will only come back and bite you in the a$$.

There are a few members of Evolution that i do find to be annoying on the forums, but all i ever see from Omega Corporation members on these forums are "Stain Alliance are up Everlasting Vendetta's arse", "Stain Alliance are corrupt and threw us out unfairly", "Everlasting Vendetta is a bunch of idiots who stole our asteroids", "Joshua Calvert is an idiot and a liar" and finally "We have blown up 194 Stain and Evolution Battleships today, but they did manage to destroy one of our Bestowers".

Ok, as for Rythmaster's disheartened comments about the op in DSS:
1. Rythm was not in my squad until he joined local. We were already engaging by that time.
2. He was in the WRONG TS CHANNEL and didnt hear orders.
3. Yes, I lost a Tempest. But I should point out that it was the FIRST battleship I've lost across THREE war campaigns and Evolution knows I'm a high priority target. I also attribute this loss partially to bad luck as I was just coming out of warp when Evol undocked. My orders were for my squad to bail as we were outnumbered at that point. I was the last to leave and as such got scrambled. So cadets should consider this when judging whether OC strategies are effective. In the war vs CA (as an SA ally), I lost ZERO battleships. Again, same in the war vs SA (a civil war) no battleships lost on my part...31 destroyed.
Evol's station bait tactic worked. Won't happen again. Props for a sound tactic and good timing.
But shame on you for hijacking a recruitment thread. Bad taste.

Uh, no. No one in OC changes corps. The reality is we dont HIDE in empire like our enemies do. In fact, we rarely, if ever, even go to empire. But if it helps to stroke your ego to think we fear you, then by all means. I guess you are in empire now, so perhaps we'll have to make a visit there. Thanks for the tip.

Please get over yourself. Omega Corp Industries was created because a member wanted to try his had and corp management and do some production, hense the reason for the subcorp. Well since its almost impossible to make a profit on the market these days because everyone can make their own equipment or can get it below cost from the people selling for super cheap just to get a sale. A failed experiment that involved a whopping 2 members of OC. Why is it we need to explain everything like this? Because a sub corp is made for specific purpose by a regular member of the corp we are hiding?
So what's the next conspiracy theory?

Ok, as the guy who ordered the undock let me clarify something for you. We had info that you were 80k above the station. We decided to undock for a few just to check out the situation. It wasn't a bait tactic. We were rather suprised to find you 15k from undock point, while your "squad" sat 80k above the station. You made a very dumb decision. Your decision to have your squad that was 80k away warp out instead of providing cover fire or taking out the cruiser that was scrambeling you was also an error in judgement. No tactics were needed to kill you, because you made n00b mistakes, in effect, killing yourself.
BTW, I do not understand why you think you are a high profile target. Evol treats all targets the same.
You are nothing special.
As you proved last night.
Perhaps Duke will let you enroll in OC War academy to learn the ropes.

Evol, the fact is that OC has made Evol run from every battle that was close to even numbers. Evol has ran so many times from even fights we consider them a joke. You are nothing more than a 2nd rate PvP corp with more mouth than balls. Probably why Evol and SA get along so well together.
Alt Chars: To keep the number of members and corp management skills minimal ONLY the combat chars will be allowed in the OC War Academy. If they graduate and accept membership into the Omega Corp parent corp, all chars of that player will be required to sign up at that time.
Players in other corps:
If a player currently in another corp desires to participate in the fun with an alt and has the permission of their existing corp they may do so, just be honest about it with your corp and with us.
Cannon Fodder?
Omega Corp has used frigates and cruisers to compliment the Battleship fleets long before others began to see the usefulness of this concept. The idea was conceived in beta and implemented in retail. We have always referred to frigate combat pilots as Light Cavalry, Cruiser pilots as Heavy Cavalry and has been on our website as such for a year.
Be assured you will go down in flames spinning out of control many times in battles. However there will also be many times where you turn the tide of a battle and regardless of which outcome you will know that you played a vital part of an operations success.
Some scoff at the idea of frigates in battle. Some already know that a frigate has certain advantages that allow it to not only survive against Battleships but make them quake in fear once the shock hits them that they are going down and they cannot escape the faster more manueverable rocket jockeys.
Catch the fever!:
Are you sick of sucking on roids? Are you fed up with being bored and unable to participate in the large fleet battles that you can only read about in the forums?
Then DO something about it! Catch the fever and join the OC War Academy for pure PvP adrenaline excitement!

Actually I never posted one image of a Moa... anywhere... ever. One of our members was handling the marketing of the Moas which we had a monopoly on it by earning the BP in a beta event by killing many other participating corps to acquire it.
HE posted an ad which showed some views of the ship and some screenies of the stats of the ship. No sane person stays upset for a YEAR over a commercial ad for a ship being auctioned off... in a GAME. It is far more likely you were in one of the corps that got slam danced by OC in the event and is still upset at being schooled. Grow up, get over it or seek professional help. Oh wait, if you do mature a bit then you may not be welcome in Evol. Funny how Evol attracts that type of personality.
