I fail as a pirate. But this story is still funny, I laughed all the way back into highsec at my own miserable attempt.

Basically, I thought I'd take my little blastercursus out for a spin in lowsec and solo kill something. Jump into the first .3 system I find and set some safespots up but local is empty so I go to the next system, same thing there and another jump. Here I find several people in local, after creating some safespots I decide to scan them down and I find a lonely Celestis in a belt.

I decide to take him out so I warp in, approach target, activate ab, lock and warpscramble and start firing. He starts defending himself rather than focus on the rats he were killing but I'm either to close or to fast for his guns. My small blasters slowly eat his tank away and he pops while I'm still at 50% armour. As I didn't see the mail icon flashing I knew the damn rats stole my KM so I go for his pod (I want a KM dammit), lock it and scram, and then my tank breaks to the rats that now saw fit to kill me as well. I warp off to a safespot to repair a bit before going back for the loot (which wasn't any good at all).

Now the sledgehammer of stupidity smack me in the head. I warp to station thinking I shall dock and get more ammo and stuff only to get popped by the sentries.

Yeah, I know you get killed by sentries in lowsec when global flagged but since I've lived in highsec and .0 only travelling through lowsec I forgot that it is not only gates that have sentries but stations as well. The worst thing was that the dude I poped was on the my KM as aiding the sentries

I went back home in my pod laughing at my own stupidity.
New day and new adventures

hehe i did one of these last night, wasnt too expensive though, more expensive than your loss though, AND more embarrassing hehe

we had some known ore thieves in local (i really hate ore thieves) and some dude was mining in a belt so i tipped his can for bait, evil but i dont care

they always fly catalysts and i was in my trusty moa, so i sat in a safe aligned to the belt with scanner on, a catalyst arrives, can disappears, gogogo, warped in and blew him down to 50% armour in a few hit's but he managed to escape, i chased him around system for 15 minutes having many close call's but never getting point's.

we decided to change our approach, i got my buddy mining and i sat in a safe aligned again, after about 2 minutes the thief warp's in and tip's the can and begin's orbiting my buddy so i warp to my buddy at 20km (got about 25km optimal with antimatter) and locked, he was 13km away so i began orbitting at 20km, destroyed him in a few hit's but by now all his buddies are arriving in local and warping in and attacking me, my corp mate was waving his arm's around telling me to warp but i thought "screw it they are in little dessies i can win this, and t1 fitted cruddy skilled dessies at that"

so i began attacking again, then their ceo warp's in and locks me and without thinking i lock him back and hit f1-f4, straight down to low shields, then a voice in the back of my head goes "your in empire you noob and he wasnt agressed" followed by "sh*t concorde" i immedietly hit the warp button, i was aligned so i insta warped but new exactly what was gonna happen when i got out of warp

ahhhh well, it was only a moa, plus i looted everything with my alt hehe, every last drop of my t2 stuff was destroyed though.... only some name rocket launchers i had on the last 2 high slots and a PDU remaining, oh and a bunch of ammo, the dessies had t1 and some poorly named stuff, not more than 400k worth of loot

ALLWAYS FRAPS THE FIGHTS. Meh, I'v lost so much good footage, because the fight starts with the setting; my rupture/stabber vs frig. No one wants to see these fights sure, but sometimes they escalate into somewhat ridiculous scale.

When i first started the game within a day or two of making my account i jumped into low sec to join this new fad they call piracy. Saw a frigate afk at the gate thought IÆd pop it (didn't have the slightest idea of what sentries were).. you can imagine my little destroyer didn't last long..

Warped to a gate (before warp to 0) in a Hawk and got finished off rather quickly >:|

Was sat outside a station agroing a few friends of mine in my Falcon.. most of them û5+ so no problems at allà I then switch to one of our other friends who wasnÆt û5 or below.. my falcon died quickly :\


Hmm thats a point.. every ship i've lost to certain cercumstances has been caldari (im primarily gallente/amarr).. NERF CALDARI.
