Hello,
I am suprised to see the really high prices being asked for Faction ammo in the various LP stores.
Take Caldari Navy Bloodclaw Light Missiles for example, they cost 2.4m Isk and 2400 LP plus 5000 T1 Bloodclaw Light missiles. You get 5000 faction missiles in return, but they cost you 960 isk a unit, if I take 1 LP at 1000 isk.
T2 Bloodclaw Fury cost 50 isk and T2 Bloodclaw Precision do 125 isk on the market. I think the faction ammo for certain types are way too expensive, even if they are better than their T2 variations.
What do you think?

They're the best missiles in the game that you can reliably stock up on. Better than t2 even...

Price is the only thing stopping them from totally replacing ordinary ammo.

they cant be that expensive cause one of my corpmates just got a lossmail on a velator they left in space about 4 months ago maybe longer and the crow that killed it used caldari faction ammo :p

I sell mine at 3000 each non negotiable.
I might just go into business buying up everyone thats selling low and sitting on mine pretending the supply is low. :P

5000 missiles go a long way
Whats worse is teh regular ammo, yeah its cheaper than missiles but not by a whole lot and blasters and autos go through ammo *fast*. But what *really* steams my clams is the implant offers because you can buy them on the open market for about the isk cost, not counting the LP. Hopefully CCP will take a look at this in the next patch.

Patches won't help (unless applied to the cerebral cortex).

I would only use faction missiles in pvp, so unless you are in extremely long-duration pvp engagements on a regular basis I don't see the problem.
If you use faction missiles in pve then I would consider it to be a waste -but if you have the Isk/LP more power to you.

It's a bit LP heavy to run missions with faction missions, but I do it anyway. As has been said they are some of the best missiles in the game, after dread guristas, and it just saves time. I don't think I can go back to T2, which are ********ly setup with the drawback model. I mean, wth?! Don't use drawback models, they are stupid and usually end up favouring one race or type of setup over another. Rig's suffer the same thing. "Oh, it nerfs sheild boosting, good thing I armour tank". In the end you're just screwing some people over and favoring others. Anyways, to drag this back on topic:
Anyone want a ton of t2 missiles? Cheap?
