I ran amarr angets for awhile but now i have gotten my standings with minmatar so low that I cannot run any minnie agents. I am looking for someone with high minnie standings that i can do a few missions with to improve my standings.

Have you tried SOE? It takes quite a bit of Amarr missions for them to totally hate your guts....

have you trained the diplomacy skill?? i think thats what its called, should boost negative standings enough to maybe run the lowest quality minmatar agent

Try to join the ingame channel lvl4 and ask for help. I'm sure someone will help you out if you help them doing some of the ~15 normal missions before the important one.
Only problem I've encountered so far is that you don't share faction standing on the important ones. Even though you answer "me and my group" at completion. (Is this a bug or feature?)
So it might be as good gaining enough corp standing for a minnie corp so you can do level 4 agents and get some importants yourself.

Havent done any group missions myself so the following is based only on what I have read in forums and thus may be totally wrong.
If you are looking to gain Faction standings via group missions, it wont happen. If your diplomacy is at lvl 5 and you still cant get below -2 for the desired Faction or its ally, you are permanently unable to do missions for that Faction as ccp removed the possibility fail intentionally for standing gains for the opposing Factions.
In your case you should be able to do lvl4 gallente missions with someone who can until you can get high enough corp standing to some corp, so you can do lvl4s yourself. This way you can get gallente storylines that will eventually rase your minni standings enough that you can do minni missions again.
