I am new here, just a month ago started playing. Now i have aroun 1,4m SP. I have tried trading - not for me, because i dont like 2000 asset collecting and then deliveering around. I have tried missioning. Well... i can do it for cash but after 10-20 missions it jsut gets boring doing the same over and over. So i guess PVP is what i would like, but i have one problem with it: Most pilots that do PvP fly in packs. So i guess i should find friends to fly with. But all PvP guilds take you if you have 5m SP 6month experience etc. And i dont want to join some small PVP guild, which gous out when there is enough players online.
I see people posting PvPing in rifters. I guess that cant be solo.
Any advice how to find gang and experience PvP? Maybe advice how to find decent PvP corp. Or i should just hang around till iget those damn 5m SP ?

However Eve University is also notorious for breeding carebears. Get in, learn the basics, get out. There is no signature. |

Think again. You might lose many at first but with time you'll learn the ropes.

and it doesnt exist any guilds!!
take a rifter into lowsec, that can usually be quite fun.
goonswarm does take in people as long as they die in at least one shot, i think. (spontainius self combusting people might have a problem)

I'm just a few months ahead of you and had the same problem, as someone mentioned earlier; Join EVE-University, it's a VERY activ group of players dedicated to help and get newbs like us up to speed with the game, you can learn so much from it and at the same time, since the uni has a ton of members, you'll get a feel for what a corp can do for you and what asset you can be for a corp in return.
On your trading, you don't have to haul to trade... that's another thing you'll learn in Uni heh :)

My advice would be to find some similarly newish friends and form your own corp, so you dont have to always be a slave to dudes who outrank you due to having more SP or clout in whatever corp you join. But if youre new to pvp, going through some sort of training from eve-u or otherwise is still a pretty good idea. _________________ [SAK] Alumnus--And Proud Of It! -- aka Cpt Bogus Is that my torped sig cloaking your base?

I would recommend you take a look at Agony Unleashed. They hold PvP courses which cost 7 mio ISK, and they are great fun! I believe that once you have taken their PVP-BASIC course, you can apply for membership, no matter what level you are at SP-wise.
In game channel: AU_PVP_UNIVERSITY
Out of game website: Agony Unleashed
Anyhow, in general if you post to the reqruitment forum, you should have no trouble finding a corp that will except you, even though you are a new player.

You don't always need a high amount of skillpoints to be accepted, even if the corp puts it up as a requirement. Most important aspect is your willingness to do pvp.
Hunt in lowsec in a cheap frigate like a rifter. Make sure you can replace one easily as you will loose a lot of them and just annoy the locals a bit, including the pirates. After you've had a few fights where you maybe hurt them a bit or got out without a loss, you can start talking with them and get accepted in the corp.
Most pvp corps in lowsec want to avoid that new players just join up to be safe in that area and be left alone. If you show you're up for pvp, the minimum skill requirement can be discussed usually.

and corp thieves/spies.
a lot of them are willing to waive the SP requirement if someone in the corp sponsors you and takes the blame if you turn out to be a corp thief or total screwup who constantly ruins ops by jumping before ordered, etc.

Set up a copy of the Eve client for the test server. Its easier to learn to pvp when real ISK is not at risk.

My first PVP kill was in an incursus (tech1 frig) vs an Exequror (tech1 cruiser), solo. Looking back on it, I made some really impressive mistakes, I just got lucky in that the other pilot was even dumber than I was.
It's been really gratifying to see people recommending Agony's PVP classes in this thread. We welcome recruitment enquiries from people who have demonstrated their PVP skills (perhaps by graduating one of our classes.... )
