I was happily mining and minding my own biz when out of the vacuum of space comes this little Velator piloted by BIAG - he ran right into me and my secure can then sat 85 meters away so I targeted him cuz he was just sitting there. Maybe he was trying to guess the password for my secure can... who knows. After about 30 secs of this mexican stand-off he fires on me and I watch my shields take damage so even though we were both sitting in a 0.8 system I figure I can safely now open fire on him so I do - luckily I had a beam weapon fitted and I happily watch his shields going down and the Concords warping in to finish him off. Then poof and he was in his pod with a very surprised look on his face... I then quickly target his pod and begin firing but since he is only 85 meters away and I was too lazy to move to my optimal range I lauch my heavies and try to get them to attack his pod but alas it seems drones don't attack defenseless pods - blah ! BIAG warped his pod off and I was denied by prize - his biomass.
This was the most fun I have had in-game for some time and it was thoroughly entertaining. So entertaining in fact that I sent him an EVEMail inviting him to do it again and he almost did - except this time a buddy of mine and I both targeted him with the hopes that we will watch the Concords blow-up his new Velator but alas he must have learned somethng cuz he just hid behind a roid and then warped off to complete safety. It's times like this that makes me happy I paid my fees for the month - hehe.

If you fired on his pod, I believe CONCORD should have finished *you* off?
(The reason I'm not sure? I usually don't do PvP in systems with CONCORD, unless at war  )

yea, its pretty pathetic. Especially calling someone a noob when you dont know the basic game mechanics.

Viceory STFU!!! and eat a d!ck... Not everyone in the game has 8-10mil skill points to go out into space and mine, hunt, or pirate. The guy had alittle fun and u think ur so badass to knock everyone down...

Considering this guy has played since the early June he should hit 8M himself in just a few weeks

or neglected to tell us about concord then destroying their ship, which would clearly indicate to us all who the noob was in this story

Um, I was there and I did fire on BIAG's pod AFTER Concord destroyed his Velator and my cruiser was NOT damaged by any Concord ships - I kept firing on his pod until his pod was 50% dead and then he warped away... so in fact he was NOT podded but then Concord didn't care that his pod was being fired on either.

I have a similar story:
I was out happily mining and some NPC rats came along. I released my drones and destroyed them all. When my can was full, I went and got my indy and hauled all my ore back to the station. Then I took my tristan out and picked up the pirate loot. I got 2 basic expanders and a small radio crystal.

um, didnt optcs got killed by some drones today?
well, obviously not everyone is clever enough to avoid a miner with a full set wasps out in 0.4.... optcs tried it, his kestrel was dead meat in 4 seconds. corpmate had a good laugh and a small dent in his shields....

I have a similar story:
Me and a mate were sitting 60km off a gate for five hours last night in a Tempest and an Apocalypse. Anyone who came close got autotargeted and I pwned them! Well actually cruisers and most frigates were too fast to getądamn gate guns need to be removedąbut three shuttles, two Velators and an Iteron Mk-I never saw what hit them! I got two Civilian Blasters and 10,000 units of Scordite (which I couldnĘt move) and podded a newb (what an idiot he wasąhe deserved it). I got to hit F1 and F2 (they were usually dead before I could turn on more weapons :)) at least six whole times last night!
