Black Lance (founded August 2003) is one of the longest standing pvp corporations in the game, and is presently a member of the oooh Shiny Alliance. After some recent ups and downs, we are currently recruiting on a selective basis, as part of an initiative to rebuild our operations.
The corporation expects all members to have a strong PvP focus. We run daily small gangs and also participate in allied fleet operations, and expect PvPers to be self-sufficient in terms of supplying themselves with ships and equipment. We are presently based in southern Stain.
In addition to our PvP activities, members are involved in T2 production, invention, exploration, POS maintenance and capital ship construction.
We are looking particularly for players with sufficient experience to take a leadership role in PvP gangs and ops in the EU timezone, although new members with an established PvP record from any time zone will be considered. We are non-pirate and expect pilots to maintain a security status of no worse than -2.0, so that they can fully participate in fleet movements in empire during wars.
We will consider applications from players who meet the following criteria:
- you must be a minimum of 12M skill points.
- you must be over age 18.
- you must have a majority of skills in spaceship command, gunnery, missile skills or electronic warfare.
- you must be able to use both ts and vent, and have a working mic.
- you must be able to use T2 guns and ships
Sorry, junior players and those without 0.0 experience will not be accepted at this time.

If your application is accepted you will be on a 2 week trial period, during which you are expected to demonstrate your interest in regular pvp. Exceptions will only be made for those with a personal reference from someone we know.

Bumpage. Love it here -- great people, great pvp. There are pvp opertunities on every scale, from solo'ing to Cap fleets. Ooh Shiny also offers some of the best FCs you can find, even if they are a little nuts

Only tot i knew about pvpin, black lance has really made me think bout different situations of pvp and has saved me alot of ships and iskies.
Great guys n gals n always av sum gang going whether it be 3 or 10, also are leniant on lettin you care bare when no CTAs and you really need to.
But this is really a PVP corp so join us now. You wont regret it.....

What can I say, its great fun flying with these guys whether its a roaming gang of intys, a tactical gate camp, a rescue mission for one our mates, attacking a POS with a just a shuttle and a fighter (aymo you are nuts).
All the guys are very supportive and we don't run any form of first come first served on loot from kills so if you do have the missfortune of loosing a ship there is plenty of kit around to get you back on your feet.
