Im refering to the 7.5 resists to shields per mining barge level just checked and im seeing base 50% therm on a hulk in space when no hardners.

Coveter therm: 20%
Hulk therm resist: 50%
(5 x 0.075) * (100% - 20%) = 0.375 * 80% = 30%
20% + 30% = 50%, exactly what the Hulk has more than the base therm resist of the ORE ships.
In other words, since you need Mining Barge V for the Hulk anyway, the bonus is pre-applied in the attribute window. Confusing? Yes. Broken? No.

this kind of thing bothers me to no end. Some ships get all their boni, and some dont. Example, vulture gets its 5% per level shield resistance, while a harpy is missing its kinetic and thermal shield resist bonus. CCP plz be consistent something!
PS I get better overall resists when flying a merlin then when I fly a harpy

assault fig resists are preadded as you need racial frig v to even fly them. why dont you do some research before complaining

As Washell Olivaw already explained above, some ships already have their bonuses applied to the ship before you even get in it. Harpy is one of these. It sucks from a consistency point of view, but the bonuses are there, already pre-applied to the ship.

The other exhumers have the same resists without it being one of their bonuses.
Imo they should either apply the bonus on top, or give the hulk a new bonus.
