always played eve no probs on my samsung lcd tv, today when it launches i hear the eve music but i get mode not supported message on my tv, ive got a friend to log in as me to change resolutions but no joy, i use vista, any ideas folks?

LOL, and on top of that, having your friend change the settings isn't going to change anything other then his local prefs.ini file. It won't effect your settings whatsoever.
If you need to change your resolution just change it in the prefs.ini file in your EVE folder.

Well, if CCP take each case as it comes, then getting a mate to log in solely to change the resolution to try to get him out of the quagmire must be the lowest grade of breaking the EULA.
That EULA is surely in place to stop accounts being used 23x7, "healers" farmed out amongst corps etc. etc.

try changing your resolution in the pref.ini file, or try another monitor.
and for the account sharing... well, it was an attempt to help him play the game.. not to share and make another person not play it.
