Hi,
I use a Rokh for lvl4s with this setup:
Highs: 8x 350mm Railgun IIs
Meds: 1x L Shield Booster II, 1x Shield Boost Amp I, 1x L Cap Battery, 1x EM Hardener, 2x Multispec Hardener
Lows: 1x Power Diag System II, 1x Tracking Enhancer II, 3x Mag Stab IIs
Rigs: 1x Shield HP rig, 2x CCCs
I can tank rather well provided I dun aggro all the rats. It takes me 2hrs to finish AE4 in just under 2hrs.
My question is: Would a Hyperion or Megathron be better for lvl4s?
PS: I have Caldari BS3 and Gallente BS3. Armour and Drone skills are kinda low, and please dun tell me to use a Raven my missile skills are poor. Though I might train them soon, thinking of buying a Rattlesnake (4x Rail + 4x Cruise).

I'm thinking for a railboat you might be best off with a (navy) megathron. Hyperion is nice but it seems to me to not have enough lowslots to put in a mag stab or 2 and I don't think the damage bonus of the Hyperion makes up for the mag stabs on the Rokh. And the tracking bonus of the mega is sweet.

id go mega to, im just about to switch from a navy raven to a mega to run missions to make it more fun. you will need decent armor skills though and good cap skills. also for the
raven you dont need high sp to make it work i only trained what i needed over a yr ago and i have a whooping 914k in missiles! thats it.. not even a mil sp and i havent touched them
since as i like guns more but the raven did make lvl4's more accessable alot quicker. oh and incase your wondering i walk lvl4's and do them blooming quickly thanks to the cnr :)

So basically no one flies a Rokh for lvl4s? Seeing as when you can fly a Rokh you can fly a Raven. But I'm more inclined to Railguns. Any other Rokh pilots here that use it to PVE? Or am I one of the few odd ones around?
One thing I've noticed when I do lvl4s is that my guns drain quite abit of cap especially when I load AM charges. Does the Mega suffer likewise? I can't sustain tanking and firing all my guns indefinitely.
6m+ sp in gunnery vs 300k+ sp in missiles.
Anyone knows what skills are needed to fly a Mega decently?

2 hours sounds pretty long to me, try a Megathron for them, should work nicely considering my Astarte finishes AE in 40 minutes, there is something definitely wrong with that or you just have way less skills.
And for Rokh, drop the Cap Battery for Cap Recharger II, change Large Booster to X-Large Booster II.
And use 3x CCC, the Shield Amount Rig is not worth it.

I had a Navy Mega, it was pump. Back the the Hyp. Tank is more important than gank running L4s and with a decent repper it's a doddle, assuming you have matching skills...

Thanks for the input.
I'll try with 1 more CCC and a cap recharger II when I get home(at work atm).
How do I calculate my DPS? 8 turrets vs 7 with dmg bonus, how wide of a gap is there?

This is the difference between bad (Osric) and good (Mastin) mission runners.
As for how to tell dps... Quickfit or EFT
