I hope this has not been posted before...(I looked for 20mins). I think that since AOL has made there software "open" to the public for development, we should be able to incorporate it into the game so we don't have to play in windows mode. I've made a few test web pages to attempt something similar to AIM Express but the "in game" browser really does not care for my script. There must be a way to make a local page that proxies complex messages into simple HTML script that you can in turn port to an HTML based website. I'm going to keep working on this. If you have any ideas on how we can make this work. Convo me in game or please post here for others to read. I really think we can get this going. either that or maybe CCP can get the ball rolling on their side. :)

Why would you want to pollute this game with any AOL garbage? AOL products and services suck worse then Microsoft, if that's possible.
Plus the killed ICQ, quite possibly the best msg software ever.

I agree w/ ICQ. How about windows messenger then. Thats discrete and garbage free.

good idea, but isn't that what all those chat windows at the bottom of my window is for? or are u talking about chatting with people not in EvE (Do they even exist?)

Windowed mode is the best. Why would you want to give that up?
