Edited by: SaTrryn Batoxxx on 15/07/2007 19:54:46 Hi I wanna train for carrier. I need to move stuff 25 jumps once a week and its 0.0 to 0.2 and I'm sick of losing my industrials. My alliance members aren't always on when I'm on so don't always have escorts.
Where can I get info on cyno fields, how far the carrier can jump, in which space it can jump: low sec, high sec, no sec? Fuel requirement's and so on basically any info I can use.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks in advance

Yes, they can but theyve got no jumpdrive.
No, they're used to freight thing from station to station, hence the name. *snip* Your signature was not EVE related. Contact [email protected] if you want to know more. (Include a link to your signature) -Wachtmeister Post count: 266714

your looking at some mad skill training to go from a industrial to a carrier that will hold even less cargo. Carriers jump depending on range... Jump planner Will give you the info you need on cost to jump and number of jumps you'll need to make.
If your just wanting to move things, Your prolly gonna be alot better of going with a blockade runner transport ship. Not invincible but can move with great speed, you can even faction fit it for speed and buy speedy implants. The result would be far less skill training and less isk invested.

Alot of that is Bs im afraid. No offense.
Carriers can carry two haulers (one large one small) and roughly 10k in corp hangar, and 10k in cargo bay.
So lets say 25k hauler and 10k hauler - so 35k + 20 k = 55k space. Can instantly move that space, in a second (providing the cynos are available).
But to answer the OP - search for the carrier FAQ. It will explain it all.

I think carriers come with;
1) Ship hangar space (this is where you'd put 2 fully loaded haulers) 2) Corporate hangar space (modules and stuff, like the corp hangar in stations) 3) Regular cargo space (like any ship has)

How much space do you have to move? If its enough to fit in one can I'd train up for a blockade runner.
