I'm currently dual-booting vista ultimate (or whichever is the top one) 64-bit with xp pro. I like how much faster xp is. I hopped into vista and installed eve just to see how it does and everything seemed fine. I didn't exactly stress it or anything, but everything went without a hitch and performance was better than I expected. I wasn't in Jita, so I dunno exactly how well it'll go there, but as far as the game installing and running, all went 100% perfect.

I have Vista 32 so I've been keeping an eye on Eve Vista forum discussions. My impression is that CCP have done everything required to make Eve run OK on Vista, any problems have been with the inevitable Vista shakedown, buggy drivers etc. There have been specific Vista 64 bug reports, a search should find them if they affect you.
That has certainly been my experience. The Soundblaster driver stutters now and then with everything, including Eve. The FPS is about what I'd expect, and Eve likes dual core. --- Trikassi Enterprises, oiling the jumpgates of commerce since 2004 |

I am running Eve on an x64 Vista Enterprise machine at home dual booting with x86 XP Pro. Eve works fine on both OS. No issues at all. Been running it on Vista for months now.
