I vote pointless thread of the hour.
Might need a role for it to fill first, then consider its cosmetics?
However, most of the races got 2 Commandships, where one of often are more suited for the tier 2 hull. Would vote yes for changing it.

Pointless.....I think its a step in the direction the game is going.
Does not have to be exactly the same as its counterpart BC. I place
my money on CCP introducing this in the futur.
Anyhow i would still enjoy the addition, so quit busting my bubble DOUCHBAG

Thing is, theres not really anything new in the thread, there are heaps of threads like this one, if you scroll down, however quite a few of them have suggestions about what these ships would be like, what role they would fill or what they specialize in.
Why dont you simply add more to this list...
tier 2 destroyers
t2 battleships
faction carriers
faction freighters
faction destroyers
faction pods
t2 pods
t2 carriers
When youre done with all of this, do it again, and add a number to tier and tech, come up with a new name for the new tech levels, and request a faction version of it. Rince and repeat.

Well **** you got this issue covered from A to Z. Im sorry thaT
my forum whoring LVL isent at 5 yet j/k.
It just seems that the third CM is coming in the futur.
We have Cormorant=flycatcher, Merlin=Harpy, Ferox=Nighthawk and so on.
Was just thinking that the drake,cane ect.. are getting lonely.
The BS's have there navy counterparts, ok maybe command ships should
have a navy counterpart EX:Caldari Navy NightHawk with a more shield
one more launcher slot mid and even low.
Sounds interesting to me, so like i said quit busting mu bubble

its the regular t1 battlecruiser that should get a navy version nnot the t2 version, i mean there are no faction versions of t2 ships
