I recall a similar publicized case where this same thing happened a couple years back. The differences were that the couple was playing Everquest(I or II), and had an infant that was fairly young. The child died from neglect and starvation.
I swear, some people need to be issued a permit to produce children.

no kidding. Should be like drivers ed. Take a class, do a test to get a permit, then have an experienced parent hang around for a while until your proven capable.

I have 2 kids, kids are a handful. You can't ignore a kid even for five minutes... they cry and throw toys at you. Ignoring them to the point of malnutrition? They were not 'distracted' with a game. They just didn't cared for those kids.
IMHO their 'child making instruments' should be amputated and fed to the dogs.

Closest I've got is a neice and nephew, which we're not even really related, and I still treat those 2 like I would my own and I'll say theres always time to pause a game and spend time with kids. Plus it gives you an excuse to play with the toys.
It's weird looking at the myspace profiles cause they actually look like they're all about their kids.

I think everyone starts neglecting their myspaces after a couple weeks. All the horrid load times, friends requests from **** sites, and ugly pages get old.

That's easy. Only reason why I still have mine is cause it's got a music track player on it which I use for work and a best of video of the farting preacher.

i honestly think some people should be told, you have a baby and were taking it and your going to jail, its all going downhill guys.
I might play eve alot but my dependants such as my daughter always comes first!! As said before if i even ignore her for like 3 minutes she climes on my desk and pulls my cables out!
/ps i hope they get the full 12 years each for it, i would love that
