The Clearwater Society has re-opened its recruitment.
The Clearwater Society seeks players of all skills and professions. We are looking to recruit people, not accounts.
The Clearwater Society is made up of pilots who are mature, professional, and team oriented. ôEveryone Fights, Everyone Mines, Everyone Prospersö is the philosophy we live by. We live in 0.0 and are involved in PVP everyday.
In one years time The Clearwater Society has accomplished more than many corps achieve in a lifetime of existing in EVE. We have held our own lowsec space, stood on our own successfully against whole alliances, become a part of one of the most respected and long lived 0.0 alliances in the entire EVE Universe, and taken part in the biggest war to ever embroil the whole of EVE. We receive praise from both our enemies and our friends, and our diligent leadership and dedicated member base ensures that TCWS will continue to progress and remain one of the elite North American entities in the EVE universe.
Much of The Clearwater Society's success lies in its discipline and organization. We recruit people, not accounts, and the result is a very close-knit group of players who put their ships on the line for each other daily, and who dedicate their time to helping Corpmates with no expectation of payment in return. TCWS operates under a semi-socialist system, with money making operations for the Corp periodically throughout the week, and small to large PvP operations happening nightly.
We currently seek: SKILLED combat pilots. Note that skill! = skill points. -DEEP SPACE PILOTS. We need those with 0.0 experience, TCWS is for fast learners. -Anyone with dedication, big ideas, and the drive to succeed.
Compulsory Requirements: -10mil SP+ -TEAMSPEAK. Microphone is required. -Residents of NORTH AMERICA ONLY. -English must be your first language. -Be a PvP focused pilot
Secondary Requirements -Use of out of game forums. -No pirating, no exceptions. -Adequate weekly play time. -Mature, professional conduct. -Ability to follow instructions
We recruit people, not accounts. The Clearwater Society is not an ordinary corporation. If you can not see yourself in TCWS for more than a year, do not apply. We work together for our common goals and benefit, and we are only interested in people who will do the same.
In-game contacts -Dead Angel, CEO -Ikotok, Diplomat -Honor'Bound, Recruitment Officer
Please note -Former members of hostile corps or alliances are often not considered. -100% dedication is the only level of dedication accepted in TCWS. Period. -Those with "pirate tendencies" are encouraged not to apply.
The Clearwater Society has a solid group of experienced leaders; we offer a mix of roughly 80% veterans, 20% newer members. This is not a corporation, this is a home.
Join channel "TCWS" in-game to speak with TCWS members. Convo any of the listed contacts to setup an interview.
To apply, visit our Corp site and fill out an application. Visit http://forum.theclearwatersociety.com for information on how to apply.
Regards and Fly Safe

Off Topic: No, we're not associated with scientology in any way.
TCWS has been my home for a while now. I love flying with these guys. We have a relaxed corp atmosphere, and our operations are well run.
If you're tired of sitting in a corporation you just tolerate, find one you like. We might be it. ----- insert bandwidth wasting sig here

TCWS has been my home for most of my EVE career, and I wouldn't fly under another tag. Our pilots display the highest level of integrity and dicipline, and offer excellent teamwork in all aspects of the game. If you are a seasoned vet or an ambitious rookie, our very animated section of 0.0 space offers unlimited potential for PvP and industry. Join our channel in game and be a part of something great.

These guys are one of the driving forces in FIX today. I have seen first-hand what they can do, both on the battlefield and in the mining fields. Take it as you see fit, but these guys can ROCK! Props to Clearwater...

Let me tell you a little story about TCWS's first day in Querious, before they joined FIX, and were just BoB renters. It happened to be the same day as the second attempt to plant an Outpost in ED-. About 4 hours before DT, we started the egg anchoring. A fleet of IRON, IAC, and random others started coming down the A2 pipe, the main FIX fleet moved north to cut them off, then chased them past 9CG towards the route to FAT. Around 30 TCWS were left to watch the Efa gate in 3-F as the egg was anchored ("Here, new guy, watch that gate").
Just then, around 100 -A- loggonski'd in Tzashrah (one system past Efa, yes they obviously had intel). The main FIX fleet was in K-L, about 8 jumps away. TCWS held their ground at the Efa gate, as a force 3 times their size, with more fleet-rigged BS than their entire force, came through the gate and completely destroyed them, trying to buy enough time for the FIX fleet to return and guard the egg.
What happened after that was epic, hour after hour of FIX and TCWS pilots getting blown up and podded, jumping into anything they had that could fly, and throwing themselves at the enemy. At the worst of it, we were fighter-bombing in shuttles and rookie frigates armed with civilian lasers. And TCWS was right there with us, fighting to defend a station egg that at that time they weren't even going to be allowed by their rental agreement with BoB to dock in. FIX was fighting for our new home, TCWS was fighting purely for honor, giving their all in one of the most desperate and momentous battles Eve has ever seen.
In the unlikely event I ever found myself needing a new corp, TCWS is one of the few I would consider joining.

That battle was easily the highlight of my year in EVE.
It breaks my heart to leave this crew, as they are some of the best pilots and mates a person could have at their side. The corp is dedicated and loyal to a fault, and the leadership is competent and straight forward. A pilot who plays during the North American prime time should check these guys out, I promise that you will not regret it.

I even have a fraps (Thanks -A-!) of the very first battleship i ever owned going up in flames because of this op! Great players, great friends, taught me a ton. I've been in a few corps since leaving them and after seeing this i may even have to go back. ;-)
BAH! they get a free bump on top of me telling them how cool they are......

Iam only a few months into TCWS, and Ive not regretted my choice in them ever since I joined. Even on the worst of days when FIX is hopelessly outnumberd TCWS shows up and follows the fleet into battles unflinching, wether it be certain doom, or the unknown, this commitment is what makes TCWS what it is IMO.
