What would you say would be necessary skills to fly an Arazu confidently? Obviously you need the ship requirements....but what else?
Just trying to make an EVEMon plan and wondering if I'm missing anything in my list.

You also need Cloaking IV. The ship is cap sensitive, so cap skills, and the skills that reduce scram and dampener cap usage, and the EW range extension / dampener effectiveness skills (these are all under electronics somewhere).

Edited by: Minyon on 17/07/2007 20:34:00 The Arazu Makes for an excellent Scout ship so i would also train the skills needed for to use probes and all cpu skills so you can fit the probe luncher ( it needs 220cpu ) so
Astrometrics Level IV Science Level III Electronics Upgrades Level IV ( for Co-procesor II) Electronics Level V
Would also be a good idea to have a Cynosural Field if your corp has any capital ships

I recomend you also import your xml into quickfit and start fitting the ship.. base your fit off the arazu shipsets recomendation threads.. then adjust your evemon plan from there as you learn what skills you need to mount the recomended modules.
It will show you what skills you need to learn to fully fit the ship with the mods you will need such as sensor damps, boosters, and weapons.
For example.. atm I dont have the skills to mount 3 rails on my future arazu.. to do so I realize I need at least 2 lvls of skill that I didn't realize I'd need.
Its also nice cause it will tell you exactly what skills and lvls you need to be able to fly the fit you setup. ------------ This is not War... This is pest control - Dalek Sek

I know Cloaking 5 is a bind, but it removes all CPU usage from the Covert Ops Cloak module.

Looks good, except for the fact that Propulsion optimal range skill do not exist

Sure you need Electronic Upgrades 4 for co-procesors, but you need it at 5 to actually fly the ship

No, It does not, it reduces the targeting delay after uncloaking 10% faster per level. I think you ment the recon ship skill.
If you (Midnight Halo) really like the arazu train recon ships 5 as well as the other skills that you mentioned. But I don't think you will have any fitting problems with the covert ops cloak with recon 4.
Here is some skills for you to add to your list:
Electronic Superiority Rigging 1 (sensor damp rigs) Targeting 4(5) ( so u can spread scramblers and damps between targets, very handy) Energy Management atleast 4 (damps suck cap you will need cap) Energy Systems Operation 5 (damps suck cap you will need cap)
That's from the top of my head. There is probably more useful skills to train though.
I hope this helped

Edited by: Shmachura on 24/07/2007 17:35:18 If you're planning to solo gank then you'll need Medium Railgun Spec 4 (for T2 rails) and T2 medium and light drones, meaning Scout Drone Operation 5 and Gallente Drone Spec 2(minimum).

What Fakespace means is that the Cyno field creates a field that draws everyone hostile to you towards your immediate vicinity and you cant do anything since you're immobilized. Therefore, dead Arazu

Well since arazu gets a 50% reduction in cyno time, unless u are cyno'd up in a hostile system (well even then) the cap ship should be more than enough protection imo
