Edited by: usmcdroid on 17/07/2007 14:53:53 This is my Basilisk fitting. I absolutely love it and haven't had one problem in any lvl 4 yet.
Highs > (2) Large Murky Shield Transporters, (1) Large Murky Energy Transporter, (2) t2 Heavy Missile Launchers, (1) t2 150mm Rail
Mids > (4) t2 Cap Rechargers, (1) t2 Large Cap Battery
Lows > (2) t2 Cap Power Relay's
I also carry 5 t2 Hob's or 5 light shield bots depending on how many ships I am supporting. With 2 t2 heavy's, 1 t2 small rail and 5 drones, I can actually do a good amount of damage. I usually take all frigs and cruisers.
My cap is right at 2500 and completely recharges in 60 seconds. I am throwing 704 shield every 5 seconds, I am not sure about the energy. I can hold all 3 remote's for a pretty long time and I can sustain 2 large shields for longer than I will ever need to.

Edited by: Benn Helmsman on 17/07/2007 14:54:44 havent checkted the remaining fitting you got there, but you might drop a cap recharger (since you use that many mods that add cap recharge time bonus that its stacking nerfed really badly) for a cap injecor to keep going in tight situations (basilisk doesnt need its cargohod anyway)

please, go for all-out repair. do not try to get any dps out of it, its not made for it.
with the changes to logistics, its quite easy to sustain 5 heav S95a shield transporters, so go for that.

I may be wrong but I don't think cap rechargers are stacking nerfed. Each one is applied in sequence and each one gives the full rated recharge bonus. Example, for three 20% bonus rechargers, and your initial recharge rate is R, your end recharge rate is:
R * 0.80 * 0.80 * 0.80
(20% decrease for each one)
If they were stacking nerfed, it'd be something like:
R * 0.80 * 0.85 * 0.90
(20% decrease for the first, 15% decrease for the second, 10% decrease for the third)

I don't need to run 5 large shield transporters. I have never had to run more than 2, if I were supporting 3-4 ships maybe, but then I wouldn't be making enough money to be running lvl 4's with that many people in the first place :)

There is no reason to not run a lvl 4 mission with 5 people, you will need less than 1/5 of the time to run them, because npc pop without any chance to tank. And looting salvaging a mission wih 4 destroyer and 1 hauler is just a wet dream for carebears.

A domi can easily sustain 2 large transporters and dish out good dps at the same time. In your case its a bit of a waste using a basilisk for that purpose.

I think Boraso is right, I don't see any stacking penalty for cap rechargers.
