Ive been browsing fits for quite a while, looking at different oppinions on Ratt fits for high level PVE missions. I noticed some recommend cruise missiles, others recommend Torpedoes, and some even recommend all drone mods. I put together a fit and was wondering what people thought about it, its for AFKing missions just to clarify

?? If your going fully AFK, then you want heavies not sentries. That means dropping the omniGÇÖs for the drone navigation. Also donGÇÖt need the missile launchers unless spitting FOF and putting something on the F1 key, so fill with drone link augmentors |

Forgive me but why would you ever put more then two link augmentors on a ship? Especially if the two link augmentors are black eagle, just seems like a waste of high slots.
And yes, i would more then likely do F.O.F. missiles for afk missions, although i was thinking more along the lines of using normal faction or t2 cruise missiles just to grab aggro, and do a bit of damage, then go afk and let the drones do the work. |

Agreed, but then why use these or a Rattlesnake as an AFK drone boat. IGÇÖm surprised youGÇÖve not have the obligatory GÇÿuse a domiGÇÖ which would be valid for what your after as much cheaper. You would only need one aggro gun and then some T1 augmentors and the rest empty
IGÇÖm not knocking the Rattler as use it myself when my main and the corp is quite, but it feels like a sin to use AFK style

1) tech1 purgers
2) downgrade resistance amps or fit active ones
3) damage control in 1 low (since passive tanking afk rattler at 30-50% shields is a juicy target)
4) downgrade black eagles to regulars
same isk/h, more safety, less investment |

I'd rather have sentries. and besides you will want to hit all the triggers so you don't lose loads of drones to triggered spawns, and the sentries will take care of everything but the frigs just fine. |
