Glad to know that it's being looked at.
I'm guessing that the problem lies with some offers requiring items, not just ISK - if the LP Store was not a station service it wouldn't know which station the items should be taken from?
I assume that you're trying to find a fix that unhooks the LP Store from the stations, which might also solve the problem that other peeps are having with not knowing exactly how many LP they have with particular corps. I myself flew about 30 jumps to see an old agent (not many Federation Navy stations in Amarr space), to find out I only had about 300LP and there was nothing worth having! 
Of course, the quick fix purely for InterBus would be to give them a station in Yulai, seeing as that is neutral territory...
Just how exactly does a corporation the size of IB manage to run itself without a HQ anyway?

A simple solution would be to make Interbus a Sisters of EvE corp but personally I'd prefer having them offer something unique.
Maybe make them part of CONCORD and offer CONCORD ships :)

not that simple, perhaps start a dev thread where u take ideas and suggestions on what interbus offer as LP rewards

Indeed, implants was pretty much all IB had to offer prior to the LP Store patch. Perhaps they should be offering faction industrial ships as well? (Hint hint!)
Problem is, my corp is based in Amarr space, not many Gallente corps around to do kill missions for, and working for the Minnies would hammer my Amarr standings. And working for Amarr would kill my hard-earned Gallente standings. Can't win, you see? At least working for IB doesn't kill my standings, and I make some decent ISK inbetween all those corp things I have to do (and getting a head full of +5's would be nice, too).
Not sure about making them part of CONCORD, I think they should stay as a separate entity, although of course both IB and CONCORD are run co-operatively by the four main factions. I'll be interested to see what happens to both of them when inter-factional war finally arrives...
Having said all that, I'm glad that the IB LP Store issue is being looked at. I'm sure there aren't that many of us working for IB (especially as they don't offer those nice storylines with standings increases to all nations anymore), so it's nice to know that the concerns of just a few players are being addressed by the devs.
So on behalf of us unlucky few, thank you for a) putting up with us being slightly peeved and b) trying to fix it. Just knowing that you're looking at it and will find a solution means I'm happy to continue missing-running for IB

Actually I noticed this the other day , I had wanted to Mission for Intebus given that I wanted to stop taking hits to standing in Empire. I was more then okay with not having the faction specific items and just having standard modules and books.
But agree a nice station for Interbus would make a lot of sense , I looked in the one system they control but alas no station.

I have done missions for IB with another character but stopped a long time ago when i finally clued in they dont give important missions.... Has this changed ?
also they "control" Genesis/Sanctum/Ourapheh according to their info..... why not plunk a IB HQ station there ?
or does this get convoluted given the other IB agents are in NON IB bases ?

No change there, still no storyline missions, and it's unlikely to change; they were removed because it gave positive standings to all the nations. CCP want us to take sides, presumably for the upcoming factional warfare, and of course the EVE storyline is also heading towards war between the nations.

Personally I don't see why it would be a problem; they only need to introduce a station, it doesn't need any agents or whatever in it. Ourapheh is completely devoid of stations, and since the highways were changed oh so long ago, it's probably not that busy. Anyone else remember when Yulai was the hub of the universe?
Thanks for picking up on the Ourapheh system BTW, I knew they controlled somewhere near Yulai but couldn't remember where (wasn't in game at the time).
Looking at the website database: Linky, IB's HQ is quoted as "Hel", but that link is broken: http://www.eve-online.com/peopleandplaces/stations/s_60000001.asp.
Seems strange that IB is running their operation from a Minnie mothership...
