I thought they said they fixed this? I just had a buddy scram and shoot a hostile freighter in 0.0 and the guy logged off and got away. I got there within about 60 seconds and dropped a probe and scanned and he did not show up.
Can we really get the logoffski exploits fixed for good please?

fregihters have a insta log off it seems ( why i dont know devs seem to hae missed it)

False. This simply doesn't work.
What happens is, when jump through a gate and log off, you have the standard 1 minute timer before your ship disappears. You can be scrambled while trying to enter emergency warp, but you will still disappear after 1 minute.

if your getting scrambled you have 15 minutes till you disappear, same like when someone shot at you.

Says who? There is no fix that I'm aware of (apart from the logoff and login another char exploit which was fixed like years ago).

They really need to make it so that jumping through a stargate causes aggro for logging purposes. Voila, solved. Of course there will be genuine disconnects but how many? 1 out of a 1000? i can live with that

To my mind the solution should be to scrap the emergency warp when you log altogether, and treat dc deaths via the petition system.
The other night we had a nice juicy ratting bs in a bubble, but were compeltely denied due to the wimp logging.

So you say they fixed the logging in another character thing, but you think he logged before being scrammed? Hrm... I suppose that might have happened if his reflexes were quick and he smashed ctrl-q as soon as he saw the recon decloak but before it could scram him. Still, lame exploit. The question is, does CCP treat it as such or are they just going to keep letting people get away with this bs?
