ok afaiu, u can decline one mission every 4 hours without standing loss, correct?
is it different when u accepted the mission? 'cause i got a standing hit after declining an accepted mission today, quite a hefty one i may add, 0.4 points. it was the first decline in months.

Yes, it's different, if you cancel/fail an allready accepted mission you always get a standing penalty.

They also do not like it if you just let the offer sit and ignore it untill it expires, you lose standing for that too so make sure you decline it if you do not want to do it.

Yes, mission failure and mission expiration have the same penalty.

Are you absolutely positive? The one time I let a mission expire I noticed my faction and corp and agent standings hit was MUCH worse than what I saw in the log from declining. Like, factor of 10 worse.
Could be hallucination though.
Doh. Ignore that, failure to read. Mission failure == mission expiration, decline within 4 hour window is something else. Haven't failed enough missions to make a comparison. =)

i always thought it was a 24 hour window, not 4 hours. that's what i remembered pre-kali, however.
