The evelopedia is out of Beta finaly.
And while the Lore portal is great and will get greater . I was expecting some improvements to the DB side also and it did not happen. The ability to direct someone from a ship's Lore page to a guide to the skill book that is required to fly it needs some help.
Also the DB portion of the evelopedia is outdated and will only get worse once missiles and implants get renamed.
Who is in charge of that portion of the Evelopedia and what is there priority list of tasks looking like?
Main issues
-DB items are not searchable/ or linkable until a page is manualy created.
This sounds like a great job for a script of some kind to do.
- When a new DB build is uploaded to the wiki what will happen to all the posts and comments that are currently attached to all the DB pages?
- The wiki does a bad job of tone. Current guidence is that the lore section will almost stand alone from the rest of the wiki as content. While workable it makes the job of searching for what you want more difficult.
The issue of time to implement changes is a non issue if the changes can be done by the community. A list of needed changes that can be edited in by the players that has been approved by YAR would be great.
Making the Evelopeda a better place both for new and old players.

It's probably a bit of a technical hassle, but it would be nice if it could be automated to the point where something automatically generates the wiki pages from the database, and it gets dynamically updated.

i think they said something about how the item database is automatically exported.
so I guess stuff would keep getting overwritten.

Its becouse of this that the DB has not been updated in a while is my guess. This issue needs visability and was brought up in the new players forums. |

Search is worse, before it would find all pages containing a search term in title or text, now it takes you to straight to first match. |

This to. Good example "Rig" takes you to a single entry. Rigs takes you to a large list. |

Just hit.. "search EVElopedia".... than you come to search... and you have to enter what you searching for...
About the Database... It is really next to the whole system pages and the NPC Corp pages really awful....
And CCP could make NOW a different.... but I think they will go as always.... so most likely they will not like you (Salpun).... add a the DB stub category... they will do nothing 
The same counts for the system pages... they are already split... and fpr the NPC Corp pages....
And I know furture user will hate CCP for it... A german saying is "Order is for people, which are even to lazy to search".. meaning a good Order makes your life easier..... count for CCP... the will make a order which make their life easier in the present.... means "they will go on with a plan which they already have in mind, and after that comes the flood"...
