Yes, the main thing you want to target first are the enemy tacklers. Then move onto support. The seven rails provide excellent anti-support platform.

Ferox fills the role better.

well...brutix will outdamage the ferox by a huge margin in close, and it can hit up to decent range.
Yes, the brutix can do it. However, the myrm w/ t2 sentries is again, superior. ---- Today is CATURDAY |

Unfortunatly we dont get a sniping type Battlecruiser (gallente), both get a tanking bonus and both get a damage bonus (one with drone, one with hybrids).
If you realy realy want to make a gallente snipe BC a Myrm with Sentry drones would probably be the way to go. Not saying a brutix can not be used as a sniper cause it definitly can, just be aware other sniping BC's are going to outrange you and being a whole lot closer to the enemy than all the other snipers is a good way to get shot at ------------------------------- C.D's Formula for success ------------------------------- Credit Card = Game Time Card Gametime Card = ISK Therefore Credit Card = ISK.

If you do use rails on a Brutix, use 200mms. The 250mms just eat up way too much grid.

We are talking sniper here, if you aren't using tech II 250s then you shouldn't come out to play.
H - 7 x 250 Tech II Rails M - 2 Sensor Boosters, 2 Tracking Comps L - 2 DMG Mods, 2 Tracking Links, RCU
I think that should fit with decent fitting skills. Possibly could drop the RCU for a small armor rep. Its been a while since I've flown this ship. Use spike and you'll get out to the 70K range. Pack warrior IIs in the drone bay and park yourself between the target and the main sniping group.

The Brutix is not gonna be a great sniper, best bet is to downgrade to 200mm settle for mid-range support.

QFT.
Better fitting, better tracking, similar DPS.
Oh, and completely disposable.
