Crebba the Goose Flock 0	Posted - 2011.04.08 11:10:00 - [1] - Quote Hello There is a few background facts that i need to adress first: 1: I don't have gunnery skills and I want to be able to watch TV while doing missions so using guns is out of the questions (I konw it will be faser with more damage) 2: I am doing missions in Minmatar space so lots of Angel missions (also stupid in a armor tank I know, but thats why i used the last 50 calibration points on a Explosive resistance rig). 3: I have been doing misions for a few weeks in a normal Domi with T2 Heavy drones and I found out that if I want to pull entire rooms at a time I need the second LAR from time to time but there is no point in upgrading it beyond T2. 4: Haven't done anything with Senterys before so i dont know if 2 Faction Tracking links will be enugh but I hope so. [Dominix Navy Issue, New Setup 1] Capacitor Power Relay II Armor Kinetic Hardener II Armor Kinetic Hardener II Armor Thermic Hardener II Armor Thermic Hardener II Large Armor Repairer II Corpus X-Type Large Armor Repairer Federation Navy Omnidirectional Tracking Link Federation Navy Omnidirectional Tracking Link Republic Fleet 100MN Afterburner Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II Salvager I Salvager I Small Tractor Beam I Small Tractor Beam I Civilian Gatling Autocannon, Civilian Autocannon Ammo Drone Link Augmentor I Large Sentry Damage Augmentor II Large Anti-Explosive Pump I [empty rig slot] Ogre II x5 Garde II x5 Hobgoblin II x5 Does anyone have a suggestions on how to improve my fit? Or should I just use a normal Dominix, if so how do i manage to get in 2 trackinlinglinks and a AB in it?

Thought it was gonna be awsome. Problem was missions took FOREVER! A mission might take an hour for my ark domi to chew threw but I could do the same mission in my apoc in 15-20 min.

For the longest time I ran lvl 4s not using guns for anything other than shooting one shot to pull the group I wanted agro from.

Urek Hunt Autistic Sharks Test Alliance Please Ignore 0	Posted - 2011.04.08 18:01:00 - [11] - Quote I used to roll with a Dominix Highs - 2x Drone Augmentors - 1x civilian light blaster gun (requires no ammo and is therefore ideal for gaining aggro if you need it) - 3 Large Remote armour reppers for sentries (sometimes i like to let them tank incoming waves durf) Mids - 5x Cap rechargers, what else Lows - 2x LARs - 5x hardeners Rigs - 3x CCCs Drones So long as you have atleast 5 heavies with backup incase some get lost; sentries; and some small/meds to deal with frigates then it's all cool. I used all tech 2, not a single faction or any other mod, and it could tank every mission afk whilst the drones slowly killed everything. I had 3m SP in drones and still was doing ** poor DPS, so be warned. As for skills, my cap skills were all that I needed to reach stability (isnt that hard) Obviously it isnt stable with the remote reppers on but wtf else would you put in those hislots, guns? F* that.

I think I'm going to start skilling/fitting up to be a L4 mission griefer/ganker...AFK during missions=Totally lame and deserves to be ganked. I'll wait until they clear the room though to make sure I get my ISK worth.

No, not entirely AFK for the most part, alot of missions/rooms have multiple spawns, it's semi-AFK you place it on your secondary screen while you do something else and look at the screen on in a while, to check on your drones have killed a trigger etc... It really helps to know the mission) AFK Drone ships are used with Heavy drones and 1-2 Drone navigation modules and 0-1 Omni-links rest with tank, a drone link or two, maybe even some guns/launchers in highs that you set to fire on some BS while you looked at the screen or reactive your launchers with FOF missiles.
