I have -5.00 standing (with diplomacy it's -3.80) to Amarr empire and am getting shot when I enter their highsec space. How do I get a slight increase as fast as possible? I can see some agents available to me in Amarr space, but they seem to be from the misc. corps like 'expert distribution warehouse'. Would that work? I also have negative standing to Caldari (though not as bad), so I don't really have agents for those either.
And on another note, how does CCP plan to implement faction warfare if people can't even enter each other's highsec and have no means to fix this without being unable to run missions for their own faction?

Aren't there any Amarr agents in Low-sec that'll give you jobs?

You can try and see if you can do missions for Caldari, Ammatar or Khanid.
The other choice is to sneak into Amarr low sec and go ratting.

If you have adequate standings with ammatar, that is your best bet. A storyline mission with the ammatar will give you more faction standings then a storyline for amarr.
Being a Fleet Commander and a Arbitrator pilot are the same thing - The only difference being that the Fleet Commander commands other people, and the people actually listen to him. |

You would need to do missions for corporations that are part of the Amarr faction like for example viziam or the royal navy etc. It doesn't matter where they have their bases (there are amarr starbases with agents inside minmatar space).
Another option is doing missions for corporations that are part of a faction that has good standings with the Amarr (like khanid, ammatar and caldari). This option would be slower on the whole then doing missions for an amarrian agent.
As for faction warfare, I'll believe it when I see it. -------- -The only real drug problem is scoring real good drugs

Does failing Minmatar missions work? I think they did remove the possibility to do this repeatedly, but otherwise, it should.

Nope, they removed that recently.
As was said already, his options are - doing missions for caldari, khanid or ammatar. Sisters of eve might work, too. - forming a gang with someone with good standings and running amarr missions together (especialyl the important ones)

well after the standing nerf to stop pirates suiciding and then 0.0 for around 1 day and then suiciding again, the only way to do it is to join a 0.0 corp and go hunt for around 1 week and you will be up (yup so freaking stupid complain to ccp... what they should have done to stop it was just "no sev gain in 0.0" and wubty problem solved, but NOOO lets nerf the WRONG players to bits.... nice job doing that ... AGAIN! ;)

Edited by: Toria Nynys on 22/07/2007 19:42:07 Last I saw, killing faction rats only gives you a faction hit (8% every 15 minutes). There is no derived bonus to enemies of said faction.
So, that approach is a one-way trip to not being able to work for anyone in the universe. (read: reroll)
edit: to the guy right above: we're talking FACTION standing. Not concord standing (sec status). Ratting won't help anything but the wallet.
