I'm still a noob on Concord so, can Concord's system firepower in 1.0 stop any large invading fleet? I'd love to know the rules or game mechanic boundaries on this. Lag is the only answer I can come up with. Where can I read more on this please? Thanks.
If there are no rule restraints, *smacks lips*, How many BS's or how many BC's are good enough to over run Concord, for example, like in The Emperor's System Amarr??

if somehow a titan got into 1.0 space, and shot soemone the ship would be lost, all ships and fleets will fall to them.
1 ships shoot, 10 concord spawn 10 ships shoot, 50 concord spawn.
to escape concord is not aloud in general, ur ship must be lost.

have a look at a concord fleet commanders ships. Yes, it's two HUGE railguns stuck to each other!
I have no idea when the last concord ship got blown up, but I doubt it was any time soon :P

Not possible to do, as Concord individually responds to each pilot that does something to trigger them.
IIRC, each time somebody triggers Concord, it spawns 1BS, 2 Cruisers and 2 Frigates (Been a long time, may be a different mix, so take it as a representative example). So, if you have 100 Battleships with you, each of whom try to blow up something, then you will trigger 100 Concord spawns, which give a total of 100 BS, 200 Cruisers and 200 frigates. All of whom deal all 4 types of damage, prevent you from targetting, scam you and web you.
In short... Concord cannot be beaten.

Faction police ships respawn after you kill them , I'm pretty sure CONCORD behaves the same.
Dreads can tank CONCORD on the test server apparently , not sure if the newly implemented energy neutralizing prevented this. Either way , you can't really fight once CONCORD is locking you... maybe FoF missiles ? I don't think killing CONCORD is feasible , even the frigates have both a shield and armor tank.

Simply put: CONCORD arent like police, they are more like gods in spaceships.
You get attacked, you die. End of story. If you avoid death, you meet CCP's banstick cause avoiding death by CONCORD is an exploit.

You can't tank concord in anything now it would seem. If I recall correctly, while I was on the test server one day, a bunch of us were messing with Concord. Everyone got their cap insta-pwned, including the dread that was with us.

Boo hoo, we can't do, how boring loosing that game dynamic true. Thanks for the reasoning, makes sense to do that in the early days of eve, maybe empire space is too safe and stagnant these days. Concord ships re-spawning is a great idea, Concord as god machines is totally unbiased, unbalanced, unrealistic in comparison to eve storyline or any storyline and limiting a huge dynamic potential for empire alliances to protect or aquire within empire space, just as what happens in the real world. Meaning, bringing skirmishes and camping within empire more realistic purpose as alliance patrols perhaps.
Maybe we are not mature enough to police ourselves or to control an ararda.
With only a slight Concord vulnerability, Alliances would need to do business with each other more often and empire would become more organic a reality to enjoy. What's the point of Rev II theme if we cannot war the empires and change the map? You can still profit off us with Concord compromise cCP.
Since noobs have their own incubation area these days,..I'm sure CCP are looking into ideas like these anyway, realism? So a simple ruling about unrealistic ships, may be outdated, and easily changed, or eased?

they JUST buffed concord more so you might as well face the fact that high sec is not for you
because the odds of ccp giving two figs for your opinion on how unbalanced concord is pretty much nil Real turtles tank armor. Real men fly Pink.

If you agree with the need for realistic change on Corncord's fire power, please petition the Devs this week as I am doing right now. Nothing to loose, everything to gain. Maybe enough people like the idea of a mature CCP redefining Concord with vulnerability ? And maybe now's a good time for CCP to listen? Some bugger made me do it, honest.. |

Highsec is the 'safe zone' or 'big city' of the eve cluster. Its for new players and people who just dont want to be fighting all the time. Bear in mind every time they buff concord, which is about once a year or so, is cause someone found a way to evade them and abused it by ganking lots of newbies which should about sum up your thoughts to if we can police ourselves. 
As has been said, if you dont like concord dont bother whigh highsec, is what lowsec and .0 is for. Impossible is not in my vocab, if it makes em more money, they will think about it, simple reasoning helps ....if the ideas hold weight. We are just kiddie saps in a manipulation program but we have also changed their thinking, when ideas are tight and profitable.
