Sunshine? Like this film ?
I watched that at my local cinema months ago. Is it on later release in your country or something?
Anyways, it was a good film, I would recommend it.

The movie came out in Britain months ago, but its just now being released in the US.
From what I've heard from several different critics is that the first two thirds of the movie are really good similar to 2001 or the first Alien movie, but the last third kills it. Turns into a slasher movie or some such. ----- Any mistake I've made in spelling, grammar, or syntax, as well as any faulty cultural or historical statments should be attributed to me and not my nation of origin. |

Worth the watch in my opinion, but Tarquin is right in saying about the last part, the jump in 'genres' is pretty drastic.

Damn I was hoping for one of those rare modern Bladehunter movies, not a space age slasher flick or atleast something like that one third of the way.

Just saw this on Saturday, and wow! I really liked it - it's a shame this movie has been set up to fail in the box office (at least Stateside).
Has tons of atmosphere, good characters, setting, awesome effects, and didn't insult my intelligence like Armageddon and untold amounts of other space movies. I daresay it's my favorite space-themed movie since Event Horizon. The "slasher elements" weren't as prevalent as I thought they would be initially, and thankfully didn't ruin the entirety of the film. Great ending too. When things go wrong, man, - they go wrong!
I'll most definitely be picking this up once it hits DVD.
