those models have been in the game since castor.
the t2 raven is just a normal raven with a blue shiny alpha on top.

What's your point? Doesn't that just make them more likely to be the models of T2 ships? Or at least some next generation variation of them since people are always saying there won't be any T2 ones ever. One of them looked suspiciously like a regular concord battleship though, maybe they're all just faction models already used by concord/navies/fleets etc?

Vina is correct, the models have been in Eve since Castor. It's the skins/texture maps which might be new.
All T2 ships just use the T1 model, but with a different skin on it. eg. Hawk/Harpy are same model as Merlin, but with a different skin. I believe in some cases CCP also add some 'sticky-out bits', but I suspect that these are fairly standard additions, rather than having to recreate a whole new model.
