It's been a few days since I've been on (RL Internet problems) But I'm sure RifterDeath is still going strong!
What is it? A bunch of Rifter pilots going out and raining pain on random locations. Usually these are very new players, with the occaisional more experienced pilot in the mix.
Why do it? Well, I wanted some PvP testing in a Rifter, a cheap but allegedly dangerous ship. So I broadcasted in the noob corp channel that anyone interested in going out with me, should join up. We went out with 5, 1 left early, lost 1 ship due to scouting, and 3 of us took out an Interdictor and a Cruiser. Not too bad if you ask me. Well, it got all of our blood pumping, excited about what we were able to accomplish with almost all of us at under a week of play time. So why do we do it? because it's fun!
You want in and are curious how to join? Ask around the noob corp (minmatar) or some of the founding members about RifterDeath, fit up your Rifter, and join one of our gangs for some good ol PvP.
Some of the RifterDeath pilots are out for straight up I want to kill anything that moves and lower my security status. Some are more into the Race wars. Some want phat lootz, and some are just trying out inexpensive fittings.
If you want more information, send me an in game mail or reply to this thread. If you want to complain about being killed by RifterDeath... well it is a bunch of noob characters tearing you up...
My association with RifterDeath is in no way tied into or involved with my corporation.

Sounds like fun.
Can you fly other ships besides a rifter? Punisher or Vigil? Or even better, Reaper?

We've had a few other types of ships join us, Jags, Wolfs, some other T1 frigs, it's all welcome.

Hmm, if my sec status wasn't wrecked I'd gather a few Imperial Academy rookies and get a punisher swarm going.

I can just see it now a swarm of 20 Reapers tearing up a Geddon. Now that would be funny

Sarge, ya finally got around to a forum post?
Well, I (and soon, kono Ki, an alt of mine) run rifterdeath quite a bit (weekly min.) so send me a mail and I'll add you to the list of people I call up for a raid.
or, you know, just be on in the minmatar-millitary noobcorp when I send out the calls.
And one last bit, any ship is welcome. It's mostly rifters, because it's mostly minmatar noobs, but i've done it alongside a tristan, a jag, and a few others. Hell, bring a BS and pretend you are a carrier.
And one MORE last bit: it's pretty centered around rens. Keep this in mind.

Kyai, the Rifterdeath channel is still going strong, actually very strong, with a good core behind it. Heck, some of them even made up a corp because of it.
Would love to fly alongside you again.
