why are we not allowed to comment on moderation decisions made by isd?i personally have no beef with them however i would like to point out that last time i checked they were moderators (guys employed to remove offensive material and enhance members enjoyment) and not dictators .... surely if one of us feels you have made a mistake and comments so in a polite and intellectual manner this is good for the community and might help ccp improve their appauling customer relations?
im guessing this post will last all of 5 mins (once again a sign of ccp's poor customer relations)
read while its hot

Its easy. Because it will hurt often the poster more then the devs. And too many a poster regret making the post when they have got calmed down. But then its often too late, and their reputation might be destroyed too, and things they wish to have kept private suddenly have become public.
its there to protect you!

The one time that I had a complaint about moderation I E-mailed them, and it was sorted immediately. You could try that rather than moaning about them in public?

Because nobody likes to be moderated, and for every thread that got locked, we would get another one discussing why it was locked.

This is basically it. Discussion moderation is also, for the most part entirely unconstructive and derails threads quickly, turning them into "omfg lock clickity lock bbqthreadwaspwnt" posts...
