If you can imagine this, I think it'd be pretty dam spliffy tbh, and I know not all of you will agree but anyway:
If a Myrmy flew sideways (like the catalyst) and had the wings slanted forward slightly and had the top of the ship placed in the middle with an engine either side I think that would be an awesome lookin ship! Of course there'd be more adjustments made but you get the general idea of it (I hope)
Just thought I'd put the idea out there and I don't know if there's a similar post somewhere else, i mean I'd be here a while lookin for it

I've thought about faction fitting a myrm before and it's pretty insane what it can do. For example a coprum rep (altho expensive) reps over 900 per cycle with 3 t1 nano pump rigs. 2 of those and you're rocking.
Add to that some pimp resist mods, a faction web and maybe some pimp nos to orbit out of the targets web range and i'd say ur pretty damn tough.

I didn't mean fitting a Myrmy with faction modules, I meant like the T2 and Faction versions of the Brutix are the Astarte and Eos, my idea is for a command ship version of the Myrmy

T2 variants of ships always have slightly modified hulls and redone textures.
The huge change you're suggesting is ... too huge.
It would be cool I suppose, but take a look at any other T2 ships and you'll see what I mean. Sometimes the difference between the models of T1 and T2 ships is really hard to spot, even though the textures are completely different.
So yeah, it would be cool, but wouldn't fit the rest of the T2 ships which is why CCP won't do it.

Yeah i know that what I'm suggesting is a REALLY big change but it'd be new and different and it could pave the way for new ideas in Rev III maybe. (and again I know they'd never introduce ships)
I have noticed the difference between The Eos, Astarte and Brutix although mainly its the color and texture of the ships, but the change would be frakkin awesome!
