The main way to test this for me would be to go run a lvl 4 mission, which I am reluctant to do as the last 3 times I tried, I lost my ship and had to petition it to get it back.....

Seems about the same tbh, but I will give it a few more days before passing any judgments.

Any examples of major desyncs during fleet combat? I completely forgot that this patch had the supposed fix for it. ------------ ULTIMATE LAG SOLUTION IBTL! IBDS/DC! IBTC! 1st in a BoB post! And other such forum tom-foolery. |

The "supposed fix" is why im asking... everyone has been gladhanding CCP and slapping them on the back since the patch notes was released....
Just interested if it even works... We have never, nor will we ever, hack, ddos, or otherwise use OUT OF GAME means to gain ANY advantage.- Dianabolic

Last patch has caused uncontrollable crashing for me and others. Recommend you mish with ships you want to lose.
Also recommend you create some kind of barrier for your sig line. Looks like it's part of your post.

what i WISH ccp would do is give us an update on how things are from their end. The only thing i've seen is their one statement about the release, and a slew of crash complaints. WTF IS GOING ON!?

Well, to be honest, I didn't get much lag before this patch, and now I'm experiencing quite a lot of it. Could just be me ofcourse, don't know about that. I'll give it a few more days just to make sure. At least they're trying :)

Richard,
you should know by now that people only react to what they see...
For me, I have yet to see any lag or problems from this latest patch... but then I have been at work and not able to play... guess I should say "Good Job CCP "

For me lag is alot worse. I actually didn't have aby lag problems before this patch, and now it's just unplayable.
Frames are down from 70-80 to around 10, I have gfx errors when cloaked. Really a great patch

session changes seem to be taking longer, and on several kills today, the ship stuck around for up to 5 seconds after my guns shut off before it blew up and the pod appeared. that didn't seem to be affecting everyone because one time someone else got the pod about a second after it appeared on my screen.

Lag has gotten worse. Desync is the same. fleet battle reported between Triumvirate(with RZR,MM++) vs Sparta alliance. 300-400 reported took place in the fight. 5 carriers shot down and according too combat reports from he participants over 100 bs shot down.
Sparta alliance has claimed massive desync during start of this engagement, and Triumvirate had bad bad lag but no desync according too theyre own report.
so conclusion...ccp gotto stop smoking that ganja and get the damn problem sorted. if they dont know how too....then hire someone that can... making walking in stations a higher priority than the current issues might prove too be one of the largest errors ccp will do as a moneymaking company.
just my thougts.
